If l could rate a zero l would! Poor customer care service that is virtually non existent! Never again buying at this shop, very disappointed! I bought a watch for my husband as a birthday gift, turns out the watch was not working. When I tried to return it, I was met with the most unfriendly service I have never encountered. So I'm stuck with a watch that's not working.

I had my ring resized and took it to the Canal Walk store. It costed me R200 to have it resized and when I got it back, it looked horrible. The colour is coming off onto my finger. It looks as if I had this ring for so long and have been washing dishes with it. When I got it, and wore it, my finger was turning green and to my knowledge, sterling silver isn't supposed to do that. It's a Promise ring I was given and really don't appreciate the fact that I had to pay R200 for a job that was done poorly. I'll gladly take this to Facebook because I'm really not happy. The person who bought it for me is really disappointed. When they resized it, it clearly wasn't sterling silver used. The ring is sticky on my finger and I've worn it literally for a day.

I bought an engagement ring from Sterns Canal Walk, after just over a week I decided to return the ring due to financial reasons. They accepted the ring back and told me it will take 2 - 3 days before the money will be back in my account. A week later and I am still fighting them for the money. The excuses given is that they are struggling to get a hold of the department that supposedly does the refunds. I find it very unprofessional and unacceptable. Surely when running such a company as Sterns, these matters should be dealt with swiftly. I wont be buying anything from them again.

I purchased a pair of silver hoops from Sterns Canal Walk the 11 October 2020. I’ve worn these earrings a total of 3 times before I started noticing the discoloring. It was evident that the “silver” was coming off and the earring was almost completely black.I took the earrings back to the store 19 May 2021, where I explained to the consultant what I noticed and requested a refund. She told me that they first needed to assess the product and if it could be fixed they would do so, however if it happened again they would give me a refund.About 2 weeks later I received an sms to collect the earrings which I did. I wore the earrings twice thereafter and noticed the same thing happening again.I took the earrings back to the store in June 2021 and again they told me they will send it be assessed a week later I got an sms saying I can collect. I immediately phoned the store and explained my frustration with having to drive up and down especially been in the mall during Covid and that I have an autoimmune disease and at high risk. I also mentioned the fact that the consultant said if it were to happen again they would refund me, Charlene (stand-in manager) brushed off my request and said the manager will call me.A week later I called again saying nobody had called me and she said he was going to call me the following week.I called a week later and spoke with Michael who is apparently the area manager and in my opinion needs to attend training for customer service and simple etiquette, he was very abrupt and dismissive. I could barely get a word in. He continued to shout over me by saying that they cannot issue a refund and that I can collect the earrings. I then asked him who the regional manager was he said her name is Pirannie Palay and he couldn’t give me her number but she would call me.I called the store 4 times after that and am yet to receive a call from anyone.I am extremely annoyed, frustrated & disappointed in the brand and staff who work at Sterns Canal Walk.

I bought a silver necklace with a cross on. After 4 days of wearing it the little hoop that connects the chain broke. I sent it in for a quote under the impression that I have a six month warranty on the product.This necklace cost R699. The quote that I have to pay is R250 for that small piece in the necklace. How is this possible and what is the point of the six month warranty. This is the 2nd Item I have purchased at Sterns that has broke still under warranty and that I had to pay for. Poor customer service and workmanship.

They took in a defective product from me, then two weeks later tham they said they would have it repaired by sent me an SMS saying that it had been repaired.I went to the stall to collect the item and they had no idea where it was, misplaced! They said they would attempt to locate it for me.I enquired multiple times over two months as to where the item was, just to be told they believed the item was at the repair place and that they would arrange for collection. They said multiple times over two months that I could collect it in a few days and that they would call me back... They never did.Three months later I'm still waiting for them to return the faulty item.
