Fick's Pool Restaurant
The view from this restaurant is beautiful. Lovely lil spot. Friendly staff. The menu offers small portions of food but delicious, especially the pizza, so don't go there hungry. It is more a place of hanging out, relaxing for a drink or two, and a snack. Unfortunately, the pool is accessible to the public even if they are not eating at the restaurant...that was a little bit distasteful for me. It's worth a visit, though.

What a lovely venue in Hermanus for a light lunch, drinks. A tidal pool in the middle with the restaurant on the rocks around it, amphitheater style. So beautiful. We enjoyed mocktails with chicken wings for my partner and calamari for myself and shared a picked beetroot and apple salad.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to lunch at Perlemoen. Perfect location and the host Fumy made us feel right at home. Just a shame we could not book a table for Sunday lunch. They dont take reservations and work on walk ins only.

From the moment I arrived at this restaurant, I was struck by the stunning views and warm hospitality. Perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean, the airy, open-air dining area and comfortable seating made for a relaxing atmosphere. While the restaurant can get busy, the staff worked efficiently to keep the line moving, so I didn't have to wait too long to be seated.Once I ordered, I was blown away by the delicious food and drinks. Although there were some slight delays in getting my order served, the attentive service and stunning ocean views more than made up for it.Overall, Fick's Pool Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Hermanus. Whether you're seeking fresh seafood, expertly crafted cocktails, or simply breathtaking views, you won't be disappointed

What a setting! The views of the sea are spectacular. Had one of their 'pizza' type dishes and a beetroot salad. Both were brilliant, fresh and tasty, the other dishes sound and look equally awesome. The service is very good too and so is the atmosphere, but with these views who can complain! Definitely worth a visit.

Nice food and nice location - I definitely recommend. The food is mainly tapas, the waiters are nice, cocktails are good and you can swim in the pool if you're not too afraid of the cold water of Hermanus !

The manager made a point of stopping at our table to welcome us. This was appreciated as it rarely happens at most establishments. Waiters was friendly and efficient and our food and drinks was delivered without a long wait. Ambiance is just great!

Excellent location and great service! The food is average and the portion sizes are small as it is tapas. It is on the pricier side for just tapas and you have to order multiple if you are quite hungry.We managed to have a taste of most of what was to offer on the menu in the seafood and vegetarian ranges with a bit of space for dessert. The table setup for a big crowd with multiples dishes wasn’t ideal as the tables are quite low and the seating was mainly sofas (this could be due to the place being packed because it was Christmas lunch and I am unsure if this is usually the seating for meals or only drinks)The overall experience was good and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the location by the tidal pool. There is a slope for assisted wheelchair and pram access to the restaurant.

Excellent location and setup. Smartly dressed staff and very friendly. Food is good but some portions very small and very over priced. Our waitress disappeared soon after our first order. We had to almost beg other waiters to help us. They gave our waitress messages and food arrived. Our plates and glasses were left on the table long after we finished. Good place to snack and have a drink, but don't come hungry.
