Since I'm emigrating to a cold country, I needed a lot of help with what winter clothes would be good and advice on how to layer appropriately.Most of the staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable with providing advice and accommodating my needs and wants.The only negative, which goes for any Cape Union Mart store, is that they never have enough stock but are able to order sizes from other stores or online.Prices are quite good for the quality and they sell a variety a good brands.

I recently needed to get a gift on my way to a birthday celebration. I called in and asked for the items to to be set aside, stating that I would be in store shortly. I arrived at the store about 45 minutes later to find exactly what I had asked for, set aside as requested. Having been advised that this was a gift, the staff members were ready to wrap it for me and I had experienced no delays at all. I did, however, need a specific type of gift wrap (different from the 3 options they had) so I went off to get that and stated I would come back to get the gifts as they were large and I didn't want to carry them with me. On my return, the items were set aside, prices removed, gift receipts attached and I had two staff members offer to wrap it for me but I didn't mind doing it myself. I was told that I am welcome to wrap it at their station. Even then, when I was doing so, they wanted to help with cutting the wrapping material, ribbon and tape. They even offered to help me carry it to my car. The staff was really super efficient and friendly. I left with them saying that they hope I get to the event safely and enjoy it. All smiles from all the staff all the way to the exit. Thanks so much for great customer service!!!

Really impressed with the staff. I didn't know how complex buying a hiking pack could be. They showed me all the different features on multiple packs, and helped me find the one for me and what I need it for. Also with explaining the different metal grades to me when selecting a bush knife. I always get helped out here. And over and above the friendly staff, this store is epic! Really digging the new store, although, not that new but still. Will always be back. Aweh.
