Have call to in everytime to get tokens as their system doesn't pick up payments and if the offices are closed you will have no choice but to wait . A Supervisor Mark George never calls back, this due to the large backlog. Paying a premium for municipal service standards.

The worst service I have every received from a utilities company. They over charge on meters and installation, don't respond to installation snags, and they take no responsibility for meter installed incorrectly. Make sure you tell this circus, clearly, how you would like your meters installed.Companies like this deserve 0 stars, but Google requires atleast 1.And please don't even bother sending a response to this message... I have emails the length of my arm, with examples of your disregard towards the installation issues raised in my complex. You have already lost your reputation, there is no point in trying to save face now...A warning to you all, don't use this company, there are many others...

I bought electricity for R595 and only got units for R511.70! R83.30 went for charges"!!!!!!!! A total of 157.10 units - that's R3.26 per unit!!! Ridiculous!!! What are the charges for?"

Ripping people off with the cost of electricity. I just bought R300 electricity and only received 87.90 units and for R1000 I only get a dismal 282 units. I have never paid this much for electricity before. Stop ripping the public off and charge according to municipal rates!!

Such an inconsistent and terrible metering service. They charge ridiculous service fees and never deliver the service they are supposed to.I can never get the timing right on my billing because they are useless and inconsistent, on top that there is no web interface to log into, to check and see what is owed on my water and sewage levies. Stay far away from Ideal Prepaid, there are far better companies out there!

You guys don't even deserve 1 star. I'm a beyond unsatisfied with your service at this point. Your installation came to install a water meter at my place on Tuesday the 13th the messed up big and till today I do not have water!!! I couldn't go to work today because I can't bath without water because ideal prepaid cannot do their job right. I sent emails since Tuesday night and only queen responded even though she couldn't assist me further since it was a faulty installation. I sent about 5 emails to Ruby since Tuesday night and she just called me now to ask me to switch on the velve ,now tell me ideal how do I turn on a velve that is outside my 3rd floor apartment? why didn't you guys do it when you were here. Are you guys gonna pay me for this day since I am not at work because of your inconvenience and incompetence?

We have just switched to Ideal prepaid for our prepaid water and the their interface unit is poorly made and will just fill you with rage on how NOT user friendly it is. They have apparently had many complaints about this but i guess they just don't care enough to do anything about it. So i'm putting this here to warn others to think carefully before choosing this company for their prepaid service.

I am honestly sick and tired of your pathetic service. Everytime I buy electricity I have to call you to get my voucher. You charge for a service. Absorbent rates and then I have to waste my time and call costs to call you for my voucher. Which you also charged me a fee for. Your system doesn't work. Fix it or stop charging for service you obviously cannot provide. PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY.

They followed up and resolved my issue promptly & amicably. I'm a happy customer.
