Step Up Tattoo Studio

From the moment I made an enquiry, until I had the piercing done, I was treated professionally and kindly. I was extremely nervous, as my last nose piercing was a horrible experience, but Bliancha was excellent. I was still telling her how nervous I am, and she was already finished! The studio is neat and tidy. Will definitely be returning for more piercings.

I Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. High quality service and the studio was one of the cleanest I've seen, they take care and pride in their store, especially when it comes to hygiene and covid protocols which is what impressed me most. The staff are Awesome, I’ve been tattooed by Frank who designed a custom tattoo for me with very little insight from me of what I wanted, and he envisioned a tattoo that was perfectly fitting for me. I then had privilege of being tattooed by Kirsty, who took my sad, dull and illegible existing tattoo and she really turned it into something amazing and I am able to show off, she works so gently and efficiently, it was absolutely so awesome being tattooed by her! I also had piercings done by Bliancha, who really takes hygiene seriously which is a huge comfort especially when getting new piercings, she definitely knows her stuff, from angling the piercings, sizing them accordingly and prepping and cleaning the piercing site, it really made the experience comforting. Overall stepup is definitely a place I will keep going to for any of these things and travelling from Johannesburg to their store definitely is worthwhile! I cannot say it enough, but honestly when it comes to hygiene these guys are on the top of that list and it really does make the experience that much more comforting because you know you are being looked after especially during the times we are going through! Super stoked to see you guys again!!

I have had multiple tattoos at Step up, as well as piercings.I have been tattooed by each of the staff there, and had piercing by two of them. Each and every person is professional and friendly. They have firm practices in terms of safety and hygiene that they fairly and firmly put in place.The artists are phenomenal and exceptionally talented. I will NEVER use any other studio.

Came down all the way from Jo'burg to get my very first tat with Step Up Tattoo. The experience was first class. The place and staff very professional and neat. I felt pampered actually. B was extremely professional, so talented and considerate. She continued to support during my whole procedures. Her attention to detail has produced phenomenal results. The shop has the highest standards I've ever seen, the cleanliness was top notch. I have not had any adverse effects and all follow management was clearly discussed. I was very nervous and B went at my pace checking in with me regularly throughout my procedures.
