Fairly large house but very far from beach. Had some issues with hot water which was resolved second day. Lovely braai area. Nice for large family get together

We have rented Southern Beach house a few times now and it's size and location makes this place amazing. There is a nature reserve real close by and the beach is a 3 min walk. Stunning views of the sea from the top rooms and top separate flat. It's safe and there is enough parking. There is a fire pit outside close to the outside braai that really makes it so much more entertaining for a social get together. It offers the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises and the rates are very reasonable. The only problem we have encountered, twice, was the gas geyser not working. But the owner stays close by and on both occasions the matter was resolved in no time. It has a huge fireplace inside for those cool evenings. There is not much for kids to do other than what mother nature has to offer so bring their bikes as there are lots of gravel roads to enjoy.

Our 3rd time here. Simple living, well equipped guest house. 6 bedrooms 3 with additional beds. Inside and outside braai facilities. Fireplace. Short walk to beach and several walks in the area.

Great value for money. Beautiful seaview. Quiet area, fantastic place to relax! Lorraine is also a lovely, friendly person.
