Had a great experience today running with over a 1000 people all committed to a bit of fitness! Its a fantastic route to run being along the beach and enjoying the fresh sea breeze air! Bring your kids or gran parents to walk or run along the beautiful durban beach front!

Biggest Parkrun in the world with an average of 1500 runners and walkers every Saturday. Starting from Pirates Surf Lifesaving Club at 8am. Right next to Sun Coast Casino for a good breakfast after your run, and free parking with your Parkrun ID.

Awesome initiative. A fitness program -it a morning run to join and run weekly on Saturdays. Lively energetic atmosphere with good numbers every week. A scenic run along the shore line of Durban's Beach front. Register on the parkrun website and print your tag. You get race time and other race stats after every race as well.

Our favourite run in the company of all our countrymen and woman and kids. Sea promenade with ample safe parking and amazing volunteers. Also lots of nice brekkie spots afterwards

A very easy parkrun on the Durban Promenade.It is run from Pirates Lifesaving Club heading South with a U turn just before Addington before heading back to finish at Pirates again.I'd rate it as a 2 of of 10 for difficulty.Be prepared for a large crowd a there are usually in excess of 1500 to 1800 participants

Thank you to all the volunteers. Most beautiful run. Is it possible to start earlier in summer time in the humidity in Durban - we all feel the heat!! Please seriously consider!

Weather was not great today however still manage to finish it within time before the rain started. Plenty more people then my previous few runs. Maybe a bit to busy and over crowded. Takes a while to get going as not all starts running straight away. Very windy today but was still nice to start the Saturday of like this. Enjoyed it with my wife today
