What a wonderful experience !! The hostess Anita was superb. The cave dinning was an unforgettable experience. The bushman paintings was a sight to beholdThe staff went out of their way to make these hungry and wary travelers comfortable.Cannot wait to go back !!!

Very clean place and all linen of high quality. Great service and the manager was very attentive to our needs and so helpful really enjoyed our stay! Hope one day we can visit again! Only 10mins away from the Pafuri Kruger Gate so great location. Water was fine to drink in the chalets but no big shop nearby so stock up before getting there. Thank you for a great few days!

Once the game animals are added, this will be a great stop on the way to safari. There is little to do although walking the grounds is still quite nice. The cave paintings were interesting and the cave braai was amazing.

I absolutely love Awelani Lodge. I am a regular visitor due to my work schedule in the region. I love the bush ambience of the tent camp and the bird life is every birders dream. A lovely, informal, friendly and accommodating management team. Highly recommend this place to any traveller wanting to ecology the northern regions of the country.

The place is outdated, the kitchen not well placed, if you know north of Limpopo you know it's is always crispy hot and to have a swimming pool that is not working was such a disappointment, the water looks like it hasn't been cleaned if months.The rooms, it really is not worth the money, definitely not coming back here.

Absolutely love this beautiful lodge! Well maintained and cozy. The natural surroundings also stunning! Eben was very helpful from start to finish and the staff respectful and friendly.Highly recommended!

Lovely bush-feel experience! Not much animals to see, lots of baboons though. Excellent service, helpful staff and clean facilities.

Our stay at Awelani was incredible. The lodge itself was really peaceful in a beautiful setting amongst bush and rocky outcrops. The houses were comfortable, tastefully decorated, with air conditioning for the hot nights. Our house also had the option of an outside shower which was an unexpected treat. The food at the restaurant is delicious and all the staff are friendly. There are many nice walks, including to rock paintings and up onto boulders with expansive sundowner views. We loved being able to run and walk through the natural bush, enjoying the sounds and birds. The birds were plentiful, a treat for any keen birder. The pool is lovely, cool and cleaned often so is always a treat to swim in. It is only a short drive to the Pafuri gate at the Kruger. We highly recommend Awelani

We booked backpackers room and did not expect much and it did not disappoint either. One of the showers did not have enough pressure so we were using one shower. The place is very cool and relaxing.
