After purchasing a voucher from Mellow Clinic as a gift to my sister, they refused to honour the voucher. Their reason for not honouring the voucher is because it was purchased a long time ago, however the voucher has no Terms and Conditions or expiry date.Eventually after so many back and forth communications(even sending my bank statements and proof of payment of purchasing the voucher) they agreed to provide a service.What I did not appreciate is what happened afterwards...My sister enquired about their availability on a Saturday morning, they sent her the availability, but she did not confirm any slot or appointment. On the morning of the date that she enquired about they asked her if she was still going in for her appointment, which confused her because she never made an appointment and also received no appointment confirmation(if they claim that it was made).Penny(who my sister communicated with) had the audacity to claim she forfeits her voucher because she never showed up for an appointment(which in fact was never made in the 1st place).FYI If a customer does not reply, one can not assume that a booking has been made.From here on, the conversation went south very quickly. My sister shared with Penny that she did not confirm the appointment (WhatsApp proof of messages sent) and that the reason for not booking that specific date is because she has a really tight schedule as a single mom of a two year old that have long travel distances daily. Why she mentioned this to her, is even beyond my understanding, because it is irrelevant. Maybe my sister thought reasoning with Penny would help, since the whole situation is bizarre.Anyway, Penny had the nerve to use the following phrases when communicatingwith my sister: she does not have to babysit her"
