Bushview Lodge

We had an amazing stay at the lodge. It's a perfect setting to spend quality time together as a family. The hosts are very friendly and go out of their way to make the stay as comfortable as possible.The hosts arranged birthday surprise for my hubby, by special request, while we were taken out on a game drive.I would recommend the lodge to anyone.Thank you for a special weekend!

I'm not even going to rate this at all. The passing weekend we had a reservation at Bushview Lodge and the experience was unpleasant. Friday night my dad made a casual joke with one of the owners/staff members as my dad is a very friendly and fun person and he literally pushed my dad over his own feet because he couldn't handle his alcohol. It was very rude and very unnecessary. All this happened publicly and worse of all it happened in front of children. There were witnesses. They didn't even bother to apologize the next morning and it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant being there the next morning so we left early Saturday morning. They didn't even bother to at least try asking us to stay longer because as long as they have their money they don't give a dime about their guests. I'm writing this on behalf of my dad because what happened on Friday night was out of his control. He deserves better than to be disrespected by some old guy who can't handle his alcohol intake. Respect goes both ways and if they can't show respect there's no need for my dad to give his respects back to them. All my dad did was have a good time and anjoy himself and all they did was ruin our weekend away. Besides this place isn't for children anyway. We wouldn't recommend it all.

Very pleasant weekend spent at Bushview Lodge, and certainly marked for a return trip.Appreciated the small touches in hospitality, and welcoming and booking process!Very kid friendly - the climbing net is a winner, and the pool was in immaculate condition.I guess one can't control the other guests, but I could have done without the bachelor's party with concomitant noise and music, but I hope the ethanol-induced headaches the next morning was sufficient punishment" for the guys concerned... and that groom-to-be recovers in time for the wedding! :)One minor note... I tried to leave on the Lethlabile road (past Dikhololo)

What a fun break away! The hosts are welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The place is family orientated and warm. Our stay has been so special. Thank you to Bernie and Juanita. We will definitely come to visit again soon!

An absolute amazing experience. The chalets are beautiful and very clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely highly recommend this place.

We had the most relaxing experience at this lodge , the space , the food, everything and the hosts are very accomodating.

The experience was nice... Warm welcoming.. Ita a good place to refresh your mind... If it wasn't for work, i wouldn't stayed longer... Looking forward to coming back again one more time.. All thanks to to Bernie, Juanita and everybody else at the lodge for making our stay lekker
