So much potential to be one of the better places to eat, their flavours are really good but menu is very limited.No gluten free options on pizza which was and issue for 3 people at our table.I am sure this place will do much better in near future

It's a beautiful restaurant laid out in a garden, the food is delicious, a little bit pricey, my only complaint is that the food took about an hour to arrive, it was delicious though

Saffron Family Kitchen.“ where everyone is family”Been looking for a place to eat while waiting for a late flight in East London. Googled restaurants near me and looked around for several places and decided to settle on this family kicthen restaurant partly Because of the tag line “ where’ve everyone is family”. Also loved the name “ Saffron” for it reminded us of Indian saffron, representing courage and sacrifice, which was was chosen for one of the three bands of the National Flag of India, along with white (peace and truth) and what is now called India green (faith and chivalry).As you enter you are warmly welcomed. Waiters super friendly and bouncy like they drink Monster or Red Bulls hourly. The manager is also people centric , after waiting to be served, he came and asked how long we’ve been waiting so he can apologize if we waited longer than 3 minutes to be served. He then personally went to look for a waiter to serve us and brought him to the table and introduce him.The space is definitely family friendly. When we got here they had kids playing and amazing great soulful music playing in the playground. Just soulful and Sunday soulfulEnough.They also have Jojo tank for water conservation and back up. Hidden nice shrubby space but not far from Beacon Bay residential and shopping centre. Yet it feels nicely excluded , peaceful.Food menu is good enough not extensive for non red meat, non chicken and not pork and no shellfish eaters. But good enough for many.Food is 3/5 but the space is 4/5Overall good space with extensive drinks menu with local and imported beers.

The food was delicious, but it was served cold. Mushroom Risotto was bland. Service took way to long.

Nice quiet place, to have a meal. It has indoor and outdoor seating. It’s in sync with nature, as you will spot cute monkeys. The food is delicious, very friendly staff. One downfall’s that the day I went there, the bathrooms stank really bad. I don’t know what was going on there, but it was very unpleasant.

What a beautifull littlr gem of aplace. Just had the most exquisite Mediterranean Pizza ever. Service is great and the manager regularly does rounds of the pretty garden where the outdoor tables are. A must try for East London.

A pizzeria set in a garden. It’s a promising prospect. They offer a setting that is family friendly with wooden bench and table in a private setting that also has seating in the garden. They also offer jungle gyms and swings for the kids.The food was very average. The pizza base bothered me the most. The pizzas are R100 upwards so I expected it to be on point.
