Vodacom 4U Gateway Theatre Of Shopping

2 months ago I was sold an OPPO Reno 5 [12/03/22].I was not aware of the brand OPPO, but was assured it was a well-established make.I also tried to purchase a proper anti-shock cover but they did not have stock], In fact there was no stock of an anti-shock cover for the OPPO Reno 5 at any other cell phone accessory store @ Gateway center.I also tried TAKE-A.LOT and numerous other cell phone accessory stores around Durban…..no stock.I now need a new back cover.I am told there is no stock of spares and the model is obsolete.I have called both the VODACOM stores @ Gateway and they have never bothered to try help.I called VODACOM CUSTOMER CARE & OPPO service centre.....no help!Spare for a TWO MONTH OLD PHONE UNAVAILABLE!1/ It has become blatantly obvious I have been sold a brand/ model that is obscure/ unpopular as accessories and spares are unavailable.2/ The service from the VODACOM 4U store is shocking.

Unfriendly and the staff looked like she was not happy we came,surely vodacom pays them too much for sitting which is what they prefer.

Absolutely disgusting service, hiding behind covid as an excuse not to have a family of 4 in their store.After I lost my cool after the two kids went “missing” when I had to send my 10 and 11 year out. On returning I asked for the manager who just started going off at me about “PROTOCOL”… manger?! Really… can someone please take him the textbook “ 101 management for dummies” I am sure on page 1 it teachers you “ How to greet your customer….The reason I say “HIDING BEHIND COVID” no social distancing between staff members here… so clearly it’s not the first thing on their minds.In a world of many network stores, I wholeheartedly recommend keep walking past this on.

Went in for a simple sim swap and found they had no internet(laughable), both employees seem more concerned with doing nothing.
