Service is good. Pity that they didn't have much stock of anything. Majority of the stuff needs to be ordered. Also they seem to be a bit pricey on alot of the products. But I guess its convenient to get most electrical components under one roof.

Ordered and paid for a new light fixture which Xolani said might arrive that afternoon, otherwise the next day. Five days later I haven't heard anything so phone the store, who tell me that it has arrived and I can collect it. I arrive, and after waiting around for more than twenty minutes we notice that the store manager is busy taking down the display/demo unit. He sheepishly stops when we approach him and explains that this is the only unit they have in store, and that the other one wasn't even ordered. He tried to deceive me into accepting a used model (which was hanging there when I first visited and persuaded me to order it in that colour) without wanting to tell me that it wasn't a new unit. I walked out and have been waiting for a refund ever since, six weeks now. I have emailed four people already and they have all ignored me completely. This customer service is so atrocious that it borders on criminal, as they have shown no interest in refunding my money. I shall be making this a costly decision for this business in every way I can.

Tried a few times to query a item I was looking for. Seems they have enough business as they just put the phone down. Mark me as very disappointed.

As Alma (a previous client) mentioned that, if I could have, I would have rate them -1.You can not complain about service, because there is no service. Had a problem with the inventor that we bought at the store. As it was under guarantee we took it back to be tested on the 25th of November. Initially they said that this could take 7-10 working days. After numerous phone calls we finally got the inventor back on the 9th of December. The batteries (nothing wrong but should stay charged) that went in with the inverter were, however, missing and they could not find them in the shop or in the warehouse. On the Monday the 12th we phoned the branch. The first person who answered our call said they found the batteries and it will be back late that afternoon. Then we got a call from the shop and the caller said that the vehicle that fetched the batteries was in an accident and the batteries were damaged and they'll have to get permission from their head office to replace them. Later that day they said that it was not our batteries that were damaged but it was being tested in Cape Town that could take another week (3 different answers in a short time). Late evening on the 12th we sent a complain email to the head office reporting the bad service. We were informed that this was a franchise not under their direct control and we have to go back to the branch, which we told them was unacceptable due to the fact that the branch always placed the blame on someone else. After an email to again explained the position, the operations supervisor of the head office intervened and we received our batteries on the 15th. So if possible, I would rather recommend that you use another branch.

If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. The worst company that we've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. We've been there more than a week ago for a refund and we are still waiting for the money, even though the product have already been sold again. The managers are never available and the staff at the front desk are trying to do their best. We were planning on spending a lot of money there but we will take our business elsewhere.

The worst freaking experience ever!!!! They were supposed refund me on a product and after almost 2 weeks, I am still waiting. The manager there is the most unhelpful, scruff woman and they charged me 15% handling fee for the refund (that I still have to receive), which to me is blatant theft. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN!!

This is one of the newer stores.The staff however are incredibly helpful, friendly and willing to go the extra mile.If they do not have what it is that you are looking for on, they most certainly are able to order in from head office edenvale and can have it for you within a few days.

I'm extremely disappointed with their overall service. Nobody is ever picking up the phone, seems that they don't need business. Also when trying to order something. It takes forever, and even if it does arrive, good luck with getting notified. I stay close to them, regretfully will not support them in the future. Tired of no service at all!!!!!!!

Absolutely pathetic store they have zero stock on most the items on their shelves, told by sales staff they can order which doesn't help when you need the items now. The staff need training 99% of what I ask for they have no idea what it is and take 5 minutes per item trying to find it in their book only to be told they don't have stock and I'm talking about really basic electrical goods. In all honesty Builder's Warehouse next door carry more stock than they do and have better product knowledge. Stay away from this wanna be electrical store
