One on my favourite places. They keep almost everthing for the home. The fabrics are amazing. All kinds of haberdashery that you need is kept. Staff very helpful. Treat yourself and take a look. It's in Retail Value Mart.

What a disappointment. Totally wrong things delivered. Matching set of rails and tie bags was requested and different colors delivered. Was told telephonic that they did not have stock and what must they do now. Must I accept this.

The staff here are very helpfull. The range is excellent on fabric. Prices seem good, but I would not know otherwise regardless.We were able to find lots of options to pick from the upholstery range in our specific color as well as all of the required extras.Only downside is the early closing time. Most of the shops here close at 5pm during weekdays and I think they might be missing out on a lot of working shoppers.

Very exspensive. Will not easyly buy there.

I had bought a cane chair at the hospice and wanted new cushions.I duly took it to Metro at Menlyn Retail where I chose an expensive fabric. Hospice had left the old cushions in the rain- had been wet. Renoo, at Metro, had assisted me. She did not want to touch the wet cushions much when she measured. She had therefore measured very cursory/ quickly. She had understood the bottom pillow to be at the base/ bottom of the chair. When I had fetched it I had not opened the cushions for a few days, but subsequently had realised that the bottom pillow had been cut asymmetrically, which makes little sense. It had been factory holidays when I took it back- so Renoo instructed me to cut a template myself and return it with the wrongly made cushion after 10 Jan 2022. Her demeanour had suggested that their side had been in the wrong.My husband saw me struggle with the template cutting and offered to take it back to tell them that it is safer to go by their measurements, just to do it symmetrically - as it is a seat base of a chair. They had then insisted on R300 for the extra work, although the mistaken measuring had been on their side.We had been arguing that at more than R3000 upfront payment , they should not charge more. The mistake had been Renoo’s. Or the person at the factory’s.The owner of Metro, a doctor Carrim, refuses to meet with us. I think that although it pains me to say so, that potential clients must know about this, and be forewarned.Renoo, who is not an unpleasant person, had not done her measuring correctly. Even with an old cushion , wet or not, if she had understood where it goes on the chair, she should have known it would have to be symmetrical. I think she does not want to pay for her mistake herself. Please be warned! I cannot find a photo on my phone of said cushion, but it is clear that that cannot be a base cushion for a chair. Also, Renoo had initially assumed the mistake to be theirs, her whole demeanour had supported that. I think she had been instructed to pay the difference herself, and that is where the trouble had started. It is now 23 Febr 2022 and we are still at a deadlock, with a shop owner refusing to speak to us, and an employee not owning up to her mistake. To minimise my loss, I had paid the money and took the cushion.But I cannot ever use this service again. Ever again.

Mind Blown.I've never felt so amazed in one place. I never knew a place like this existed.Not only is the staff amazing, the doorman is a legend. Appliances as far as the eye can see. The most beautiful appliances ever. Smeg, DeFy and whatever you wish. It took me 2 minutes to find what I was looking for and BAM! assistance as well. Keep it up guys, you'll see a lot of me.If you're in the market to make a beautiful home. I'd start here. I gladly give you guys 5 stars.
