I rented a garden cottage through Rentaroof West with a contract of 12 months. In die first six months I was retrenched but still honoured my contract by staying for the full period. When my contract expired I proposed that I stay on for a further two months - month-to-month contract. When my contract expired on 29/02/2020, I had no alternative but to look for more affordable accommodation. During the 14 months I stayed my rent was never late. This is the worst agency I’ve ever felt with. They took two months to refund me my deposit. I sent countless emails and messages which were ignored and when they responded they gave ridiculous excuses as to why I had not received my money back. I had to threaten to open a case before they gave me back my deposit! Horrible experience!

Don't ever make the mistake of working with these CONS. I am now sitting on the phone everyday fighting for our deposit. Disgusting humans! They're unbothered and not shaken about their reputation or they treat people who have given them business and paid their monthly salaries. They will come up will all excuses in the world not to give you your money and it's crazy because I see it's what they do. You look through all the sites, it'd complaints about giving people THEIR money. Disgusting people. No matter how desperate you are. Dont do it. Never work with these people

Lack of communication, needed to remind admin to email statements, 200% increase on electricity after 3 months, only after enquiry did they realize it was a mistake. Disconnection of electricity because the owner forgot to pay his bill, my family and I had to bear the 24 hour consequence until reconnection was done. Regarding deposit, had to continuously call in and enquire, 1500 was taken for paint, 750 for a toilet holder, and 1300 for electricity recon. Finally received a measly 2600 from 7800 deposit. Very disappointing.

The worst agency ever to work with. I regreted signing a contract with them. After moving out it took me two months to get a final statement of my deposit. They tried by all means to make sure i don't get a cent from my R11000 deposit. Please don't ever support these heartless people. If you ask your deposit they threaten to sue you.

They hold your deposits back for no reason and deduct as much as they can thereof, my deposit is overdue for a month and still promises are made to refund my deposit, the same story it will be done tomorrow"

Clearly this is there way to do business as there is plenty people complaining about the same thing they steal your deposit, Jenny is a very rude unprofessional woman who fell down our stairs 3 times in the same night clearly been hitting the bottle abit, Miranda doesnt answer when questioned about what they actually took money for, they are terrible and always trying to see were they can do you in.
