We went to Bougainvillea for a Sunday lunch with family and friends. What a breath of fresh air this resturant is! Wow, the decor is light and modern. I was very impressed by the serving staff who were polite, friendly and attentive. Gin cocktails and a good selection of wine and craft beers in offer. I had a delicious prawn pasta and the boys and men all had burgers. All good. A great experience all round. We'll definately be back

It's lovely quiet spot, great for a light lunch or drink. Went to an evening birthday party here once. The staff are very nice.Hidden away wee gem. Unpretentious.

Gorgeous little restaurant with a cute view. A friend and I went for their gourmet burgers and a cocktail. We were slightly disappointed that the Wagyu burger was not available as we were especially looking forward to that. We opted for different gourmet burgers and were quite pleased with them. The cocktails were well priced, especially during happy hour.One thing I must note: It was frustrating trying to enter the building of the restaurant as nobody came when the bell was rung - multiple times. We managed to slip in when someone else was leaving said building through the same gate. Other than that, it was an overall pleasant experience.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. I bought coupons on wikideals. Made a booking and enquired if all items on the coupons are in stock. I was assured that we will be able to order ribs and steak. Upon ordering we were informed that there was no ribs and only 1 steak. This means we could now only order calamari or burgers. I believe we were purposely misled to come to the institution and then be forced to have the cheaper alternatives. Very unprofessional staff as well. This establishment placed a damper on what was supposed to be a special day. Nice view but very poor service

My sister and I Loved it, we enjoyed the wagyu burger a lot. We were very disappointed that they didn't have Salted caramel because almost most of their cold beverages had salted caramel in it so options were limited. We also only had 1 option for dessert. Other than that, it was good.

Food was bland, my medium rare steak was chewy. The fried chips were like McDonald's chips. Calamari full portion was the size of a starter elsewhere and extremely oily. Their sweet potato fries could have saved them a little had it not been for all the salt covering them. The only good thing about this place is the pool on deck and the service not too bad.If you want good food, don't go here.

We had an absolutely stunning Valentine’s Day dinner at Bougainvillea. Will definitely be back for another visit. The restaurant is beautifully and tastefully decorated and the food was great. Thank you Chris and Cathy(Catherine) for making our evening so special.

I had a bad experience when I visited this place. The service was very awful and the waiter seemed very disinterested. I had a coupon for a two course meals but I was only able to get one and when I tried to order the dessert they told me the kitchen was closed but no one ever warned us about the kitchen getting closed. Besides the coupon meals being very limited the food wasn't great and it was cold.

The happy hour half price cocktails were lovely. We were looking forward to experiencing the food that we visualized on their social media, but the grilled calamari starter arrived very white and the picture almost has a cajun look to it. Tasted very bland as well.We ordered 2 burgers which were tasty but had too much of a mayo taste. We both ordered sauces: the pepper sauce was cream with peppercorns in and the actual sauce didn't taste like pepper, and the mushroom sauce was cream with cut mushrooms in (very runny and untasty). The owner appreciated us telling him and would work on a new sauce. They took the sauces off the bill as we didn't eat them which was very appreciated. They have gorgeous set up, loved the decor, perfect for the gram. Cocktails were good, but I think their food just wasn't up to scratch the day we arrived.
