Coral Divers

We had the most wonderful stay at Coral Divers! The facilities are just the best, staff and instructors were very kind. My kids loved the ocean and the bush. Amazing snorkeling experience and amazing food.

Never again.One of the dive masters was so rude to me. Instead of having an adult and calm conversation she tried to pick a fight. I’ll never forget that treatment while trying to enjoy my holiday, it spoilt the trip. I complained to management and wrote an email. The matter was not dealt with at all and after asking for feedback, never got any.Additionally, I nearly drowned after my final dive of Open Water Diver course after instructor suggested to “never purge” (as a beginner, I trusted my instructor to know what’s best). I expressed not being comfortable with the final exercise in the pool session but was still rushed to do final task around 15m deep in the ocean.The kitchen staff were accommodating and lovely.

We had an amazing diving experience staying at Coral Divers (open water course & 5 dive packages with full gear). Much bigger than expected but really well organised, and perfect diving conditions. Very friendly, welcoming staff members. The cabins were nice, there is also a delicious restaurant & braai facilities there, just watch your food out for the vervet & samango monkeys ;) Looking forward to go back and dive again!

By far one of my best diving experiences, the team at Coral are awesome. The staff are friendly and helpful. I even left a piece of my dive gear behind and it was found and returned to me via courier.

Five star dive resort with excellent facilities. Experienced skippers and staff. Tyron took excellent care of our group and ensured we get the best of our diving experience in Sodwana. Safety was never compromised. Great food and well stocked bar. Lovely chalets amidst tons of wildlife to relax in. Loved every second.

Overall, I have a great experience at Coral Divers. I would definitely go again in the low season. They are in a great spot in the reserve and have convenient trucker shuttle that take divers to and from the beach. The restaurant was a bit disappointing but we found meals that were decent.

We absolutely loved our week at Coral Divers. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were there in the heat of summer so opted for a room with AC, this felt like such a luxury after long mornings in the ocean.Fantastic self catering facilities which we utilized every day, as well as a nice restaurant and bar.The diving itself was spectacular - it was a feast for the eyes! We so appreciated Erin's coordination to make sure each dive matched or skill level and desired dive site. Also a big thank you to the very talented skippers, shout out to Jerry, and the MD's.We cannot wait to go back!

Not the experience we had hoped for. Very commercial dive center. Only very young dive masters that were more interested in each other than in their divers. Lack of information and communicarion during the briefing (for example no introduction of dive master) or staff in general (no staff coming up to you to ask how it’s going, what the plan is for today, etc.) Futhermore no guidance under water.We joined a group of trainees, which is of course no problem. But the 2 of us were left on our own. No mention of where the best site is or any likewise guidance from any of the dive masters (there were 3). One was very busy blowing bubbles at the fish.We would like to give 5 stars to the men that drive the shuttles and helped us set up our equipment. They were very friendly and helpful.We will not be diving here again.

This is truly a happy place for me! We have visited Coral twice and both times the dive staff has been fun and professional. Most of them are fresh out of high school but they are so passionate about their work. I cannot wait to go back!
