Spa is located in the heart of Musgrave. Excellent service and the therapist are great. They always try to meet your requirement with regard to treatments and appointments. Great experience.

I was given an option of Thai Vs local therapist and chose Thai but only local were available strangely.Before booking I asked if the nail polish was halal and assurance was given so I went along and told that they stopped stocking long agoI do not recommend this spa

The Bunga Thai Spa is an extreme disappointment. The staff are under trained and they are not qualified in Thai massage and professionalism, I had a horrible experience there, where I even reported it to the owner, Abi or Adi, I have still not received any feedback from him. I do not recommend that you waste your money at this spa.

Booked 1 week in advance however when we got there, they were still unaware of what package we were there for, totally unprepared. Started late as they then still had to prepare. The thaii massage tho was really really good,along with the herbal compress. Will def go bk for this.

I was impressed by the receptionist that made my booking and the clean,pleasent surrounds. That's unfortunately where it all stopped. I booked for a paraffin pedicure andy two friends booked for the mani / pedi combo. Firstly the therapists were very confused about which client required which service,understandable and a non issue. However as the treatments progressed the therapists became very noisy and spoke amongst themselves at the top of their voices which I found very unpleasant as the idea was to have a relaxing experience. The owner was right outside the treatment area and did not intervene. Moreover my pedi therapist was distracted by her conversation, so her foot massage was done with one hand, and her hand pressure was too firm but she didn't notice! Secondly I could smell her meal on her breath while she did my treatment (poor therapist etiquette) . I reminded the therapist that I wanted the warm parifin treatment a few times because I didn't see it any where but she reassured me that it would be done. At the very end of the treatment she told me that they could not do a warm parifin treatment because it wasn't working but it wasn't her issue because she didn't make the booking. Had I known at the beginning I would have chosen another treatment! When I approached the receptionist and owners son at reception about the issue, neither took responsibility, each person blamed the next in their establishment . The receptionist could not understand that I wound have cancelled, chosen another treatment or went forThe mani/pedi combo which was a R50 saving if some one discussed it with me (perhaps a language barrier which I have compassion for). The son of the owner together with receptionist were extremely unhelpful and dismissive! I paid and left.My recommendation is that Bunga is a NO NO.SHODDY SERVISE,CALLOUS STAFF AND OWNERS.Is it their practise to coerce clients into having treatments they don't want and insisting that they pay for them?

Excellent packages. Massage was awesome by the Thai ladies, they definitely know what they are doing. Multiple talents available here, from hair stylists to nail techs to waxing and all types of massages. Owner is very accommodating and welcoming. Always has a smile on her face n ready to see to your requirements.

Bunga Spa is an upmarket spa with excellent pricing. Super well maintained and very friendly staff. Boasting a lovely cafe set in their home styled spa. A must visit for your next massage, mani or pedi.
