I had the privilege of taking my 2 daughters to Koils and Kurls, if you know me, I am very protective and pedantic about how they are treated and how they experience people, spaces and places. I’m that mom!The hairdressers at Koils and Kurls were so warm and welcoming. They were very gentle, which for a black girl with type 4C hair, is pretty much a NEED!!!My girls really loved their hair. It was neat, cute, stylish and affirming! I also loved that they do a range of protective hairstyles for kids.I’m definitely going back. It’s such a safe, well-run space.Thank you Koils and Kurls!

Koils and Kurls Kiddies Salon
Visited in February and was very impressed with my daughter’s hair relaxer that was done so well. She has very course hair that easily gets messy.I also loved that owner jumps in to ensure that the kid’s hair is on point which made me feel at ease and great comfort.

Dreads and braiding on dreads. Both my girls have sensitive scalps. No tears in sight. It's no longer a night mare to convince them to go to the salon.

They are very unprofessional, my kids hair came off after a day of making instead of fixing it properly they claim I am always complaining, why shouldI complain in the first place if it was done properly, this is not the first time its happening either the hair does not last for upto a week or one other thing, instead of taking corrections they rather gossip about me, the owner Vuyo as well as her staffs are very rude, I will never patronize them again, I am so disappointed with their service!
