Pleasant places is a hikers and nature lovers paradise. The guest lodge is gated by the lions river and mountain views on the other side. Masana who runs the guest house turned the weekend into a homely experience with her hosting and amazing support. Loved every minute of our weekend there and will definitely be back.

Wow what a pleasant experience we had at pleasant places! Went for a retreat and the staff was friendly, the chef cooks the most delicious food and the owner of the places makes you feel at home. Beautiful scenery too, Such serenity!

Quite aptly named and testament to what the place and staff have to offer. I recently visited Pleasant Places with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s serene with breathtaking views, the staff is friendly and the food was great. Ideally located to explore the Midlands’ main attractions.I recommend you take a hike in the morning to see Lion’s River and return to a warm breakfast overlooking the picturesque countryside.

Everything about Pleasant Places was amazing and so refreshing✨! From the beautiful rooms, the breathtaking views and the delicious food. Masana and her team are such great and attentive hosts, they made sure that our stay was pleasant at all times.They certainly didn’t lie when they said “arrive as a guest, leave as a friend and come back as family” because I felt right at home.I’ll definitely be coming back!

My experience at Pleasant Places was incredible! I love the ambience, the tranquility and most importantly the friendly staff. The food was also delicious and accommodating to vegetarians.
