Takealot has almost perfected it's delivery efficiency in South Africa. We ordered late in the afternoon and received confirmation that we can pick-up the following day. What a seamless experience.Generally we don't expect a lot from the aesthetics of a pickup point and this one is no different. It was full but I was still out of there in 5minutes.

Usually a bit busy for collections but I prefer to collect on my terms rather than getting a call from your gate when you're not home. The service is pretty efficient. Scan your QR code, wait a few minutes and you're on your way. I don't think I've waited more than about 30min start to finish.

They’re efficient, I’ll give them that. I spent no longer than 5 minutes here. It’s way different to the N1 “Big Bird” pick-up point — for a second I thought I was at the wrong place (like a distribution center and not a pick up point) because of all the drivers rushing about in the parking lot.Update: they’ve since moved inside the Hillfox Value Center and this location is much better!

When it is busy you will wait a very long time in the queue and then to recieve the packages, also can take what feels like ages. It almost doesn't feel like a quick pick-up"

They should get security in the parking lot and upgrade their camera's went there to collect parcells after work on my way home my car got remote jammed and my laptop stolen acording to security it is not a isolated experiance.The red Haval is my car watch the Polo comming from the top of the screen.

When the depot opened, it was great. Three people working at front counter, but sadly, like everything in this country, it goes downhill. Several collections I have had to wait in a queue that does into the parking area, as there has been only ONE person at the counter. Unacceptable!!!

The pickup point has moved from the back of the center to inside the center opposite Viva gym. It looks much better and it feels much safer in the front where there is more foot traffic.

This collection point does not function well. The queues are very long, staff are generally extremely slow, with systems being down. No communication with the queue snaking outside with looming rain. Classical sign of profiteering from a dominant position where customers don't matter. Fortunately, international competition is coming later in 2023.

Awesome staff!Update 2023-04-17 - they have moved to the front of centre, now ample parking with guards on duty, some teething problems first week or 2 it seemed, but service and time to wait great now, with staff always keen to help, even helped with a large parcel to the car when it wasn't busy, thanks guys, what SA service should be!
