My mom and I attended a retreat at Babirwa and prior to the event I didn’t know much about the farm. To my surprise it was such a lovely experience and I got what I wanted from the trip; rest, relaxation, reflection with comfort, good food and good company surrounded by natureThe staff and foodAbsolutely so friendly, and so patient, we were never left wanting. We had vegetarian and plant based meals the whole weekend, as well as tons of healthy snacks always available. The food was so amazing I even requested some recipes so I can make them at home! Delicious, nutritious and just the right amount of foodThe roomsFar beyond my expectations; the finishes, top notch, the design, space, amenitiesActivitiesWe had yoga daily, meditation, game drive, walksThere is also pools should you wish to swimOverall, a lovely, well run lodge and I am already planning our next visit. Wow I do not even know where to begin , I loved every bit of my stay at Babirwa , all the staff members are amazing … I would like to make special mention of Hector , Lizzy … the food was amazing ❤️ sis Boni is so good with her hands as I received the best massage in the bush … thanks a lot to each and every staff , I could go on and on but I will definitely be going back to Babirwa for another epic relaxing getaway.

I live in Rooiberg since the golf course was taken over by the new owners us locals mostly pensioners may not play golf , we are prepared to pay green fees.We were told that the owner does not want us to play because we might hurt the game that may walk in the way .
