The food is always good. I do wish the staff was readily available/visible most of the time but, I do understand the place does get busy so they try their best.

First time at Doppio Sandton City branch. What a lovely meal and atmosphere. My waitress helped me with my choices and I had one of the best meals so far in the centre. Wanting to make healthier choices this year, I could not have asked for better. Thank Priscilla, you were tops. So many stunning dishes without breaking the bank. Must say, giving a shooter glass with a healthy shot, when you get there, only makes you want more. Will definitely return to try more from your menu.I made good on my promise and have been back 3 times already.

The restaurant is well located within Sandton city mall and offers a wonderful view of rivonia road when opting to sit upstairs. The decor is very warm, welcoming and comfortable. The staff were friendly and were willing to assist even if they were not your assigned waiter.The food is so tasty!!! The pasta Loco is just something else. Full of flavor! From the meals to the drinks to the dessert, is worth the price

I’ve been here many many nights… The restaurant next door.Favourite dish has to be the butternut soup, great service, great prices and even better food. I love it here.

Ordered take away pastas and a hot drink. Service was excellent and staff was friendly and helpful. However when I paid for a loose item at the counter there was an issue when I asked for the slip.

TLDR: My first try of a Dopio 00 and I walked into a 17 minutes wait before leaving and asked by the manager to give them a second chance. Unfortunately I don't think a fair rating can be given after my first visit. I will return and try again.We were seated and not attended to for over 15 minutes. The food and wine menu was dirty and sticky, not a pleasant way to start. We had enough time waiting for the waiter or manager to show up to search for and view menus of the nearby restaurants. We had to resort to calling for a manager as we decided to walk out and go to Spur instead.The menu variety and pricing seams reasonable of what you would expect from a restaurant of the status and caliber. We decided to try a shared platter menu and focacia starter. Our starter was quite nice, well on par with the expected value.Located near the side of the mall with a lovely view of the outside. It is fun watching the city move about outside and relax with a meal and drink.The venue was remodeled recently and the style is quite modern and clean. The ambiance is not suited for fine dining or relaxing evenings. The music is up beat and modern with many loud conversations about. The place could use noise dampening materials.

This is one of the best Doppios I have been to. Situated at the Rivonia road entrance in Sandton City. The location is beautiful, especially upstairs.The vibe is very vibrant with great music playing. The waiter was attentive, and the food was prompt. I went with my kids and they loved the pasta that we ordered. The lamb chops I had were quite nice too.

Very nice restaurant with good atmosphere, nice decor and great hospitality. There are many seats so if you have the opportunity sit upstairs, you get a beautiful view of the city.They have many dishes which I'd normally think it means they'll be average as they don't specialize in one type of food in particular, but we were gladly surprised. The burgers looked amazing and the pasta dishes as well, but we opted for the pizzas.One of the best pizzas I've had in Johannesburg, very tasty and generous with the amount of ingredients with a crunchy and tasty crust. There are two sizes, regular or large. If you're very hungry order the large, but if not with the regular one you'd be more than satisfyied. (Pictured below are the large-sized ones).The prices are reasonable and affordable. I would definitely come again and would recommend this place to everyone: families, friends or on your own.

This restaurant has an amazing view, and amazing food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and refreshing.The food took so long to arrive and the pasta wasn’t the best I have had, it was okay. The waiters are amazing and very helpful.
