Food is great - the live music today was fantastic! Tian was awesome. Unfortunately I must say that the service was not up to standard for a very lovely pub and grub venue. Not enough waiters in my opinion. But we had a lovely time.

I went there on Wednesday for the quiz night and the vibe of the place was great and so were the drinks but I’ve gotten food poisoning from their beef burgers! I think investigating the kitchen is a good idea.

The Local Bar is a great vibe, even with the cold weather. Outdoor heaters are provided upon request. Servers are super amazing and attentive. Ample space if you bring the kids along. There’s a stage for performances and I’m pretty sure it lives up to expectation. Unfortunately the pizza was not to my liking, it was somewhat cold when it got to me.Got there just after 4pm so the drink were on happy hour special. Which was great!Played a little pool which one needs a R5 coin per game. Change is easily attainable from the bar counter.Cool place, definitely heading back there.

Been going to The Local for years, even before when it was known as the croc. Venue stays true to a lekka vibe and has turned into a awesome social hub. Outside area is nice and spacious featuring a decent sized professional stage for performances. Inside has a classic and cosy U bar, nice space and two pool tables.Specials daily!

Great value for money menuOn two different occasions had their pizza and a cheeseburger. Both were exceptionally tasty and not expensive.The venue is relaxed and we had a lot of fun there

Its a great family friendly restaurant/pub with nice food and good prices. The drink specials are good and mostly a nice chilled place, except on Fridays when DJ Nick brings down the hooooouse

Great alcohol specials. Quality of food could be better, but it was okay. Friendly staff. Manager went to ever table to see if guests were okay, which was a plus. Service was slow but it was a rugby day, so I understand. Good place to try out though.
