Simbali Lodge & Function Venue

I haven’t even had my wedding yet as it is a month away but I cannot recommend Simbali more! They are absolutely incredible, professional and so accommodating. The venue is absolutely breathtaking too!

Signage need urgent upgrading. It is really not easy to find the place, even inside it is not clear where to go. Venue is nice though

The venue is easy to find. One can relax and enjoy a drink on arrival, mingle until the wedding commences, and enjoy an excellent wedding feast afterwards. Professional service

Very rude and and terrible attitude of management/staff towards wedding guests and hosts. The sound/ acoustics were so bad that speeches could not be heard properly and guests could not talk to each other without shouting. When chatting to one of the contractors apparently this has always been terrible. Surely sound is paramount for a wedding venue. Bar staff not qualified and overcharged many guests for drinks. You get one shot at your wedding day - don’t spoil it at Simbali- the acoustics are terrible. Not worth the risk - there are venues close by with good sound. It’s one day in the wedding couples life that means so much- don’t gamble with Simbali !

Simbali is fantastic! Aside from being a beautiful venue, the team go above and beyond to accommodate you as a guest. We have worked at Simbali as photographers and have always hadthe most pleasurable experience. It is easy to travel to and find, the scenery is beautiful, it is always exceptionally clean, the management and staff are friendly and it is a highly photogenic venue with plenty of gorgeous spots for images. 10/10 recommended!

The staff of Simbali Lodge was outstanding. They were so helpful and absolute professional. The food was the best ever. Worth every penny spend. The guests were amazed with the venue. So beautiful but stil in the surroundings of the bush. A great thanks, especially to Shepard and his staff for the whole weekend excellent service and hospitality, they were absolutely amazing . The moment we arrived they were there to take our luggage to the rooms or venue. I can recommend Simbali Lodge for anyone and any function. They are truly the best. 10/10.
