Absolutely fabulous throughout. Welna and Hillary were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, they made buying a new house a genuinely fun and exciting event. Extra stars for Welna: without her I would have been a lost fart in the wind. Fully appreciate every effort that was made, the open and honest communication, the transparency, the willingness to make time during odd hours in the week. 13/10 would recommend, and I will be happily working with these ladies in the future.

In short, our experience with BT Properties was more of a journey than a transaction and we would gladly work with Lloyd and Byron again. From the very first interaction they were highly attuned to what we were really looking for. They helped us navigate a tricky sale (of our home) and managed to get us into a new home that we absolutely love. Lloyd and Byron always acted with high integrity, and it never felt like they were overpromising, or not acting in our best interest. Highly recommended!

This is not a transparent agency. We bought a house through them. Many defects were not advised. The irrigation system was defective. The pond filter was not filtering. They had mould and damp through out the house, behind the cupboards and through the walls. The owners denied on the declaration any knowledge of the mould and damp. The carpets were damaged as the owner left the windows open before hand over. Which they used as an excuse to hide their knowledge that the roof was leaking in that particular room. No remedial was provided. We were denied a final inspection after being promised it would be arranged as the owners did not want us to be aware that the storm had made its way through the leaking roof. The agent advised us on behalf of the owners it's the carpets to cover up the leaking roof. Then once we complained. They used the conveyency attorney to attempt to intimidate us into not taking legal action through a civil claim as this is exactly against the law. Obviously a very unethical group. The sellers are laywers themselves. Isabella Goodman and Keith makuman. And threatened us with th a counter sue of delaying transfer to avoid us viewing the damage and holding them liable before transfer. But it's evident. The owners and agent were aware we have a 5month baby. And living in a house full of mould is detrimental to her health..None the less. The mold and damp demage was still. Not declared to us.

After struggling with a series of lacklustre agents from the usual suspects we approached Ian from Byron Thomas and what a difference! Finally an estate agency that does more than posturing. We sold our flat for the price we had hoped for before it even went onto the big property websites. They have a really good email database, which weeds out the time wasters. Such a great experience dealing with a professional outfit like this. I our opinion, it's the only agency worth considering in Joburg.

Kim and her team at Byron and Thomas have been an absolute blast to work with. They did their utmost to get our property sold as quickly as they could for the best price. I will use these guys any day of the week and highly recommend you use them. They also have good knowledge regarding purchasing and selling and always happy to share information.

Welna and Hilary were GREAT. They were very efficient, supportive and ready to assist with any problem. We really believe the sale wouldn't be finalised without their efforts.It was great having them as agents and we recommend them 100%!!!!

We met Byron on warm spring afternoon to view the first house on list of houses he was an agent for.
