However angry this company makes me feel it all comes down to one thing. They expect skeleton support staff to maintain their business while they all take the weekend off. This company does not have weekend hours, not unless you want to speak to someone in support. They are run off their feet trying to make excuses for systems that drop" service requests - it has happened to me twice and once at a terrible price. When I complained about the sales person not helping me after I asked him for help on a text I was told that her sales staff don't work on weekends. Yeah

Been offline since Thursday last week phone call after phone call with no light at the end of the tunnel... I eventually phoned superstar Kobus which helped us in 5 min and we back online... Kobus you are a real asset to Adept... wow thank you so much you are a rockstar

We are a call centre now on our 3rd hour of no contact or support from adept. This is the 2nd time in a week ..... I would post with no stars but that's not an option. Nevermind the loss of income, its the frustration of our clients not being able to contact us urgently with queries

Kobus is an absolute genius and is the most dedicated and committed person to his clients ever. He offers impeccable service and will go above and beyond to help and make sure the customer is satisfied. Kobus is the main reason ADEPT ICT is a success and the best at internet service delivery. I'm in Lesotho but he fixed things completely for my tenants in Capetown without my presence.

We are absolutely appalled by the service of your company, The technicians are not helpful always blaming Octotel.They don't return calls and are highly unprofessional.We have been left without internet from 10am on the 20/08/2020 and it is still off.....Numerous calls to Octotel and all we hear is that they have escalated .What you fail to understand is that you provide essential services to business , and that you inability to sort out the problem cost companies money.....All our telephone lines are down , our security is compromised and the inconvenience of not being able to get our work done.I would not recommend this company or its affiliated counterpart Octotel.

Do not consider them for any form of hosting. Their downtime is ridiculous, every few months they're down for hours, constantly blaming their ISP. Change your freaking ISP then! Their response times on support queries are a joke. I've raised urgent queries only to receive responses in excess of 48 hours later.Heed this warning, look elsewhere.

My family has used Adept for over a decade for email, IP, and now VOIP. They have always been available and done their best to help. However, the recent VOIP port has been a many-month fiasco, costing over R4000, not counting hours of phone bills to their support line, and still not working right. Unnecessary changes to email hosting have caused annoyance and confusion. I'm not sure if the main problems are lack of technical competence, or internal and external communication issues, but sadly I cannot recommend Adept for anything. (Fibre has been OK, but still I'd rather go elsewhere)Update: Downgrading to 1 star. No response from support in over a week. The VOIP phone is now acting crazy (logging calls not made; ringing for 20 calls from non-numbers, etc.). Also fibre has become unstable. Will update in another week on how the refund process went.Update: we did get a refund, thank you. (But now Gmail is rejecting mail from adept servers. Spf/dkm issues.)

Kobus and Adept ICT are absolute ROCKSTARS!We were based in Australia when we were THANKFULLY introduced to Kobus at Adept ICT. Having secure, fast and reliable wifi was critical for us making a decision on the house we were going to rent for 3 months. Within 30mins of speaking with Kobus, he assessed the situation, found a solution and gave us the certainty we needed to make the rental purchase.As if that wasn't enough... when we arrived we needed to rebooth the router and we pressed the 'reset' button not knowing it would reconfigure the set up. This could have taken days to re-configure, however, we called Kobus... again he assessed the situation, told us exactly what to do and within minutes we were back online. Again, increasing the productivity of our virtually operated business.Kobus and Adept ICT - THANK YOU! You're legends and if anyone is looking for world-class service and ICT outcomes, look no further, if there were more than 5 stars I've give them to you.

Adept's fibre deals are great. Even better is the service from Adept. I enquired online with Adept about fibre installation at my new place, within the same day I was contacted by Kobus, who clearly and properly explained every step of the process. My fibre was installed and live, within a week from my enquiry and chat with Kobus. Kobus and the staff at Adept provided constant support and assistance throughout the process. Do yourself a favour, get Adept to install your fibre!
