Great location, with a beautiful outlook showcasing mountains above a gloriously green cricket oval. Friendly waitstaff and a great drink selection. We will definitely be back, but not for food.

I was a bit disappointed with this venue. I had been told to expect more. Nice outdoors, but absolutely no vibe. Waiters struggled to understand Sav Blanc and kept bringing the Rose. The food was ok.

We tried to make a booking for our daughter's birthday. We went there to make the booking and wanted to discuss a few things. The waiter told us Ami the manager was to busy to talk to us and that we must email her rather. Yet we saw Ami was able to take 2 smoke breaks while we were there. We emailed her that night and waited for her response. Two days later we called to follow up on her email and we were told that Ami was not working that day and she will respond when she gets in tomorrow. Waited again and did not get any response to our email. We called again and asked to speak to Ami. We could hear Ami in the background say to the waiter tell them I am busy" ... Eventually Craig was able to come to the phone and assist us! Disgusting service and we definitely will not be having our daughter's birthday there. I want nothing to do with the club whilst Ami is the "manager" there!!!"

A venue that has dropped in quality after the covid years, at least for couples. Still a very good chef and very good waitrons. Prices have crept up above inflation. If you are smoker/vapers with 2 and 4 legged animals that you want to be allowed to wander without supervision from you (so that you can enjoy your talk/food/drink without interruption); then this a a 5 star facility. If you don't want smoke and 2 and 4 legged animals to interrupt you experience or if you just don't enjoy seeing adults and their children without any self-discipline then only go when the adults are at work and the children at school - so a 3 star. This facility, like some others it must be said, has post-covid decided to go back to that years old nasty habit (IMHO) of customer profiling - all the tables are permanently reserved - i.e. until you are profiled the facility is full: regardless of how many tables are empty" way before OR way past the "reserved time". In the old days it was used to keep general "undesirables" out but now it seems targeted at couples. Sad but TIA; TIA."

The Club House at Claremont Cricket Club
This is a fantastic venue with great views of the perfectly manicured cricket pitches should such be preferred. However; once inside, it is quite easy to forget that you are in a sports environment. The menu is outstanding and the food prepared with care and is complimented by an extensive wine list. Children are welcome and a play area can be found within easy sight of the deck and balcony. All in all, an unexpectedly good experience. Highly recommended.

You gotta try the lamb pita. It’s too nice. This is a great spot for having a few beers. The cricket club is awesome because people go there to walk their dogs and just hang out. I’m not a cricketer, but I like the vibe and this club house has a long history which you can read about on the photos that hang at the bar.

After a bad experience with our favorite pizza at the Club house a few weeks ago, we recieved an apology from Ami and the kitchen staff who asked that we please visit again, so that they may prove their Pizza is still the best and as good as it's always been.Well we were back tonight and boy oh boy oh boy... Back to better than ever I would say and my whole family agreed. Your pizza's was devine. Crispy and thin, with lots of toppings and cheese yet all mixed just right.Thank you Club House staff and managers for fixing it. Please continue doing so and you'll be sure to have us as clientele for many and many more years to come.If you haven't already tried there Pizza, please do yourself a favor and go have the best pizza in Cape Town.
