Nice decent mordern and upmarket grocery store. Checkouts quick and painless. I do have 2 gripes - only one person to serve behind the food counter this afternoon, that was quite a wait before being helped. Also, the chicken cheese burger was at best mediocre although it did plug a hole in my stomach and it was only R15, so maybe not too bad for the price. Overall recommended!

Like shop here, I occasionally shop at Spar vineyard and never had a bad experience.

Unfriendly staff and managers, pricing on items not always correct. So when you shop here check your till slip. Convient because, it is near where I live but not my first choice. After the new management took over the place is a corporrate store nothing less. Had a family feeling to it in the old days that is gone.

My past experiences have been fairly pleasant the only problem I have with this specific store (not the franchise) is the staff member that supervises the sushi stall has an attitude that was rather off-putting and rude....other wise it was a pleasant experience.

Prices always wrong ,really frustrating. Why the managers don't check the pricing daily for specials ,I don't know. Not the first time. Otherwise well stocked amd clean ,but the prices that is constantly wrong is really getting on my nerves. If you shop there check your till slip,friendly staff but if they can get the prices in order it will be a better store.

I visited the Spar on the 10th of June 2023 with my younger sister and mom. I am a 20 year old female. As my mom was shopping my younger sister and I went to the meat section to get products. As we were returning to the pay point a Spar security stopped me and said “Do not put stuff in your bag, there are cameras everywhere” i was totally taken aback since my purse is about 10 by 15 cm and can barely fit my phone and wallet. I asked him what he meant and he kept on repeating the phrase. He accused me of stashing store goods in my purse, this accusation was made quite loosely and completely ruined my shopping experience there. I won’t ever return to this shop as I now feel I am being watched as I shop.

This rating is purely with regards to the pizza service offered…great pizzas at a great price BUT they are hardly ever able to take an order (too busy, store closing soon etc.) or when you do get a chance to place an order, expect to wait 45-60min.

I was very impressed on my first visit to this store. But definitely not a 5 star worth. Friendly cashiers, store is always clean but a lot of times they have no stock on certain items and prices just hikes up like crazy. A salad bar would be nice! The bakery staff can also learn that friendliness cost nothing.Absolutely love their pizzas!!

This store advertises promotions but doesn't have stock when the promotion starts. So don't go in the morning. Always waiting for the truck to deliver the stock. Please organize your stock BEFORE you run a promotion. This is the second time it happened to me. It was the same case on Black Friday. Better planning would save a lot of time for your customers.
