Of you are looking for an idyllic setting for the stabling of your horse or pony this is the spot.The people who work with the animals are friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated to their task.Definitely well worth the 5 stars.

This is my absolute favourite farm in Cape Town and I wouldn’t have my horse anywhere else. No questions about that!The horses get to live out during the day as a herd and they are free to run around as they please or lull about in the dam on a hot day. From the yard, some of the stables have verandas, overlooking Noordhoek mountain or the ocean. My horse has a better view from his stable than I do from my house. I genuinely believe that these are the happiest and most content horses in the valley. You can check them smiling as you drive by.On the personal side, this is a real family. There are organised beach and wetland rides, fun night rides and sometimes sundowners or a sneaky braai every now and again. You won’t find a more caring and loving group of people who are more than willing to help you out when you need an extra hand. Everyone is very supportive of each other, and the best part is, people don’t tell you what you should do with your horse…cause we all know how irritating that can be.This farm is a sanctuary, for both horse and people.

Such an amazing yard.The horses get to be horses and graze and move all day.The owner is very attentive to your needs and the horses.You won't be sorry choosing this beautiful yard.

Nestled between the beautiful Noordhoek mountains and the Sea is wonderful Spes Bona. Happy home to a herd of horses and a magical pony. It is a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life for me. For my heart horse Miracle it means freedom to roam and just be. I cannot imagine a better paradise for both of us. A wonderful yard owner and the most wonderful supportive horsey people.

I've had my horses at Spes Bona Livery for years and I absolutely love everything about it. It makes me happy to see my horses part of such a natural herd environment and there is no one else I'd trust more to look after my horses while I'm away, than our amazing family at Spes Bona ♥️
