Fantastic atmosphere and tasting. From wine to liqueur to it's 20 year old brandy. Very affordable too. The Roodeberg Reserve is excellent, the Pearly Bay is a fantastic wine, the Sally Williams Nougat Liqueur is to die for and the 20 year old KWV Brandy is soooo smooth. If in Paarl, please pop in there for a quick visit.

It is a fantastic place to taste wine, MCC, and brandy.Friendly, very helpful, and well-informed hostess with all the answers to our questions about the producing and storing of the wines, etc.I would strongly recommend them to anyone in the area. For a great tasting experience and learning journey.Would next time do the cellar tour...

Superb service by the lady who served us. Kwv wine ,brandy gin and a range of products is a must visit when in Paarl. The products are world class. We enjoyed tye tastings of brandy, wines and sparkling wines and gin. We bought chocolates from KWV and paired with our brandy. The 20 year old and 12 year old Imoya was superb. Cruxland gin which has won many awards is an excellent product

The experience is rather underwhelming, this is not a wine farm with vineyards, but rather a cellar & tasting room. KWV is a wine producer, they buy grapes to make their products, they don't seem to grow their own. Staff were knowledgeable but didn't seem too keen to share or follow-up with us, I'm not sure if this was because it was a Sunday afternoon or because it was near closing time. Facilities are rather dated. Mentors collection is worth a try.

Loyal regular customers coming to taste just one wine before buying 4 or 5 cases are now being charged a non-refundable tasting fee. Even Ambassador customers picking up a R10K order are being refused tastings of specific wines they are interested in buying and adding to their order. No one should buy wine at a vineyard without being able to taste it first - a lot of bad feeling is being created and significant sales are being lost as a result of the R15 tasting fee being imposed. There are plenty of vineyards willing to let customers who are clearly there to buy, taste their wines prior to purchase. So why does KWV now not allow their staff (many of whom have worked there for many years) to use their discretion in providing complementary tastings - when they always did before? Staff are frustrated and agree these petty rules imposed by people who do not understand the industry are counter productive. All brandy now comes in individual boxes - what a waste of resource, time and effort - when retailers like Checkers, Pick n Pay and Spar take all the 3 and 5 year old bottles out of the individual boxes for display purposes and throw the packaging away.We visited The Wine Emporium yesterday and could easily have added a further 6 cases of wine to the 7 cases of brandy we had purchased and were there to pick up. Sadly it was not to be.KWV is slowly going down the drain. Senior Managers do not listen to their experienced staff and as a result sales are lost and local customers go elsewhere.

Great wine tasting experience at KWV Emporium. The staff gave us a very informative presentation on the wines we tasted as well as pairing counter parts, they surely know their stuff! Will definitely recommend as a wine tasting destination.

Really nice experience. Loved the Pie and Wine pairing. The pies are wonderful. The wine is good.Just not the greatest venue. Once you are inside it looks nice, but does not compare to being outside on any other wine farm with the breathtaking views available in the surrounding areas.Nonetheless if it is raining outside or it is winter you could do a lot worse.

A missed opportunity. It was closed. I open to visit on my next trip.

The brandy tasting with chocolate pairing was good. I would say the 5yr and Belgian chocolate was my favourite followed by the cognac and white chocolate pairing. The place lacked a bit of ambience or atmosphere, hence why it didn't get a five star. The lady who helped us was very friendly and jovial.

Great wine, brandy, cognac, and gin tasting. They have a great variety to choose from. We did the passport tasting giving you a selection of 5 different drinks. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. It was a great experience.
