Beautiful rustic setting. Felt imersed in the local culture. Beautiful villas, lovely large swimming pool, koi pond, natural habitat, lots of shade and pathways to walk. The staff was amazing. Very polite and accommodating. We will definitely return and will advise others to come. We just could not have been happier with things here.

The area is quiet, safe and secure with guard at gate. It is a large open area and rather peaceful setting. Staff are friendly and helpful. The larger rooms are great, but the smaller ones are rather small. Tv channels not great. The gym needs some attention although great that they have one. Struggled with wifi connection so used my own data. Shopping centre conveniently located. Would prefer fresh milk in room as opposed to powder provided.

Last night was our first visit to your restaurant after it was highly recommended by friends. However we were extremely disappointed with most aspects of the evening.Décor and Venue was beautiful and satisfactory however the waiter was in training but unsupervised and got almost everything wrong except the desert. He seemed very confused with every request. We waited ages for the wine and other drinks. Alcohol options on the menu are very limited and in some cases, even if it is on the menu, it is out of stock. I could perhaps make a suggestion to add cocktails to the menu (and a bigger variety of brandy (perhaps klipdrift gold and premium - not just the standard klipdrift). Or just a bigger variety of alcohol in general.The main course was the most disappointing of all... firstly, fillet steaks (option on the menu) were out of stock. We decided to then opt for the Rump steaks. 2 out of the 4 people on our table ordered medium steaks and 2 ordered medium rare. All 4 steaks arrived medium rare. The meat was tender, but very tasteless. The veggies were very bland, no flavor what so ever. The Mushroom sauce we ordered with our steak was tasteless and tasted like it was from packet. The chocolate lava dessert was very nice and the only reason for getting any stars what so ever - also the only thing the waiter didn't get wrong the entire evening.We were with the friends that recommended this restaurant, and they were as disappointed by this evening as we were.I am sorry but you will not see us again. My husband and I spent R1800 and really feel that it was not worth even half of that.

What an awkward experience. I am not sure if the waiters where new or still being trained. I had to ask 3 times for my wine. The balsamic vinegar we asked for never arrived. The four shots of Kahlua we ordered for the 4 of us came in two glasses. My red wine came in a bucket of ice, not room temperature. We asked the waiter what would he recommend on the Menu, and he said the fillet. We all ordered the fillet, and then he came back and told us they do not have fillet. Our waiters continuous mistakes had us laughing uncontrollably at times...so atleast we were entertained.

Absolutely amazing!! Beautiful... beautiful.. food is put of this world. Amazing staff. The live music was the cherry on top. I enjoyed my birthday dinner.

We have been visiting the restaurant on a few occasions and kept coming back as it was always a great all round experience. However, on our visit last night, the restaurant did not live up to its reputation. Fillet was out of stock, the veggies and starch was imaginationless and bland. Basic things like Jägermeister was not available. The wine list consists of cheap wines. The waiters seemed startled at the slightest request and took ages to bring the wine. We were dissapointed. We were willing to spend more for the experience we were used to.

Stayed for about 3 months or little more. If you want to stay out of traffic, pollution and if u like nature on the edge of a small mountain this is a perfect place to be....

This review is way overdue. Stayed at this little hidden gem for one night, and we were treated like royalty. The food is amazing, and whole experience just feels like a VIP experience (and to be honest, ordered the cheapest room available which didn't make a difference to the service they provided.) Very nice place, something different in a good way.

Nice place to stay. Nice ambience and very good staff.Food is amazing. I am staying here 5th time during my visit to South Africa.

Really nice and really clean hotel.. food really tasty, personal very friendly..Big and clean swimming pool.
