Paid for Parts 3 month ago in Full got a call my parts were here 454 aluminium P steering pulley and a long cast iron water pump they tried to lumber me with an additional 4500 over and above what I paid in full call opposition and PS pump was 1500 in total tried to Nail me 3574.20 and pulley 4678.20Be careful of Snakes

I have been trying to get a price for a part for weeks now, every time I call someone picks up the phone and lay it down on the counter while attending to in-store customers. I eventually managed to speak to someone in sales and he told me to send a picture of the product via Whatsapp, it's been 3 weeks now and no reply on Whatsapp although I sent multiple messages. I'm not going to try calling again I rather go RS Performance or US Connection. I shouldn't have wasted my time with these guys anyway.

Ripped off a mate of mine. Wouldn't give him a refund not even 2 hours after he purchased the part. Was rude and confrontational in front of his two little kids. Not on. Wouldn't support as they are dishonest. Yes V8, this has reached the UK!

Hi all, hope all is well. This morning at 08:25am i bought a Red holley fuel pump from The V8 Shopp in Alberton. I then went to another v8 shop in Johannesburg Central (RS Performance) to purchase a water neck for my ford. While i was there i enquired about the same fuel pump. To my surprise it was way cheaper like R1200 cheaper.I then went back to the The V8 Shoppe to return the fuel pump, i was then met with a very rude and hostile manager. He started to rant and rave in the shop while my 7 year old and 3 year old is standing next to me that he cannot return it and it is a electrical part.I stopped took my invoice left the pump and grabbed my kids and walked out. Firstly to be rude in front of a 7 year old and 3 year old is totally incorrect, i have supported the V8 community for years and to be treated like this was very disrespectful.Guys this pump is R4000 and he refuses to refund me. Is this business ethics or am i incorrect for asking for a refund as it is cheaper some where else. Please note the pump was not removed from the packaging.I do understand if it was a few rands differences, but over a Thousand Rand Differences and the manner i was spoken to, the manger of the shop has no managerial skills, no people skills and clearly no business skills to retain customers service.

The shop is rather small but the people that work there really put in an effort to get the item you are looking for especially seeing as it's a custom car parts outlet and parts aren't always readily available so the staff of the V8 shoppe really make things a little less frustrating

This review is based purely on who ever drives the bakkie just after 4:30 like they think it's a formula one car your driving line needs work typically you break into a corner and accelerate out of it not accelerate into it and then slam on breaks halfway through it and typically when a car is pulling out a drive way or parking space you don't speed around the cars waiting for them and almost drive into a car in the oncoming lane while overtaking 3 cars after your first attempt and trying to go around someone doing a u turn and almost doing it a second time in the space of 1 minute
