The women working at the front desk are extremely unfriendly and rude. Will never go there again. The food I ordered tasted stale as well.

The fish parcels taste decent, their calamari is pretty good, their chips portion size could be better. Nothing to go out of your way for but if you're looking for fish and chips on a budget then you've found your place.What leaves a bit to be desired is the service which I have found to never be satisfactory. I only come here if I'm craving fish and don't have time to drive to Gordon's Bay for higher quality food/service.Please double-check your order when you receive it, I've had a few things missing on occasion.

We love to support local but when they don’t come to the party, it’s a problem. One would think in these trying times that you would have to step up your game. I’m not one of those wining people. I expect to get what I ask and pay for. Ooskus fisheries in Gordon’s Bay is definitely worth the drive. Stunning little shop... fabulous friendly staff. It’s a must ♥️

My husband buys me grilled fish from here. Everytime he reminds them of the cross contamination issue as I am Celiac and they are always careful. I don't get the chips as battered stuff is normally deep fried in the same oil. However, this time when they asked if he wanted chips with it and he explained the story, the lady said that they have two fryers.A dedicated fryer for only chips and no flour is used. She said it's because some people have a fish allergy, and so they don't fry anything else in the chip fryer...That was interesting...so I tried the chips...a bit nervously but so far no reaction.I do recommend you ask and state preferences if you go though...things change...so never take chances.However...the fish was overcooked. I like the fish here, but more often than not it's overcooked. Please lessen your grilling time.

Staff undoubtedly rude and unprofessional. Had to wait 40 minutes for our single order of fish and Chips despite being told 10 minutes.
