Cobra Experience
Took my dad out for a full day in the Black Cobra for his 60th birthday a few weeks ago. The folks who assisted us were very professional and knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend Cobra Experience to anyone!

Giving it a 4 star only because we couldn't get to see much as it was late when we started and never got to see the sunset. This was due to people before us damaging one of the vehicles. Would go again but would do the day trip. The map given to us wasn't exactly accurate and took us into one of the location areas.

Found experience completely randomly. Checked out and came back again within a single trip. Service and cars are fantastic.David and the team go above and beyond to make the journey worth it.And routes he put are scenic. Would recommend to anyone.

Great customer service, uncomplicated pickup and return of the car. The cobra was in good condition and delivered a great and noisy experience. With 120 included kilometers we could do a nice day tour.I'd recommend this place any time.

So this was booked 2 months in advance and a huge surprise for my wife’s birthday. Had a whole day planned, from Breakfast, to Gin tasting, lunch, catamaran cruise, then the cobra experience sunset drive and end it off with supper. We were very excited to take the red with black stripes cobra out, after completing all the forms and admin it was time to take to the streets of Cape Town and particularly Camps Bay and Sea Point in our Cobra. This was the ultimate experience and well worth every cent spent on this thrill driving experience. Just to see the faces of pedestrians as we roared past them was fantastic.

SCAM! Rented a landcruiser with the same owners as the cobra experience company and got told i had to pay the deposit in Cash and that they would refund me on my creditcard after 30 days. This was in March!! now 3 months later I still haven't got my money back and they are not replying to any messages anymore.

I used their 4x4 rental service (Land Cruiser for Hire). Same company. Had a terrible experience where I never got my deposit back back they actually charge your card and save the number on a piece of paper to then refund you later. Mistake in the number, deposit is gone. Never seen such a process anywhere else in my life. I had to follow up constantly. They never took the initiative or seemed to care. Terrible service.Update: adding a photo. It’s faded, but you can see the receipt says Cobra Experience. Same company.

During our visit to Cape Town my boyfriend and I took the Cobra out for a ride - it is a MUST when you are in CPT!! V8 motor with 260ps was real fun. We took a scenic drive and really enjoyed the day with this beauty. Be aware to wear something to protect yourself from the sun since you will be driving 8 hours with a convertible :) AMAZING experience especially for car lovers like us. Online reservation worked perfectly fine & the cars are in good shape. The guys who manage the place are also very friendly and explain everything to you - if you need a route they are happy to provide you one :) definitely to recommend!!

The dos and don'ts were clearly given.The mini-demo was great.The ride was smooth, the car had power, with a sporty feel and good traction. The scenery along the suggested route tied the entire experience together, blissful and serene.
