This is an amazing site, and highly recommended. I've stayed here about 8 times, over 9 years, and always come away enjoying the experience. Glorious views of (and access to) both the sea and the mountain. It has good parking, and clean, well-maintained facilities; a large pool (not deep), a 2nd smaller pool, trampolines, sportsfield, sports-hall, several large indoor & outdoor areas to gather, a large dining all area, etc. There is just so much around the premises.The staff are warm and friendly, and the food good and filling. They provide an amazing all-round service for an excellent price.I've stayed in several of the rooms. Some are better than others - but all were clean & the bathrooms stocked with the necessaries. The rooms nearer the 'top' of the campsite seem to be the best - being larger and newer, from my experience.Only please note that cellphone reception here is very poor owing to the location - so you may struggle with messaging. But you are not entirely off the grid - there are 'spots' where it connects better, and you're near to Simonstown, and there is a landline. Overall, 5 stars is an easy decision.

Lovely peaceful environment, friendly hostesses, good food, and comfortable accommodation. Perfect place for christian retreats and camps.

I loved it, very nice people, I love the lady at the reception, I didn't give it a full 5 star because the internet was really bad, but over all I enjoyed my stay there!

Rocklands is a beautiful venue suitable for the entire family, group events and conferences. They have very clean and neat facilities and their staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended

Had a lovely weekend at Rocklands with my church family. The host Micaela was amazing(5stars for her excellence)the only off putting thing I did not like was that my cottage had black mould in the corners by my bed which is unhealthy especially when you have to cater for a baby of 6months.

Great all-round camp experience. Good food, friendly staff, lots of facilities (including a sports hall and pool), comfortable dorms.

Simon's town is a lovely little town, just figure in your traveling time when driving through Muizenberg.(and visit the harbor for fish and chips or Ilove waffles)Our small church group had a wonderful experience at Rocklands. Even with the top bunks creaking, cold morning showers (the warm water needs to be switched on and runs up the mountain before coming back down again) and a few baboon visitations (there are patrols that ward off unwanted visitors, but these baboons take chances when these guys aren't around, so keep doors closed and food out of sight)The catering was the normal mass production one would expect. (I do not know if there's different menus for smaller groups, I was not involved in the organization of this trip). The staff were very friendly and Micky (Micaela) the hostess was very kind and hospitable.We went for a run early morning to watch the sunrise, swam in the beautifully kept pools and played volleyball and lots of games and had awe-inspiring times in worship and the Word!
