Kalkies

Whenever my family comes from the northern cape,kimberley to be more specific,we go to kalkies. They have nice fresh seafood and one can choose to eat inside the restaurant or you can have your meal outside. The outside seating area will be your best bet if it's not a cold and windy day,because of the views. The restaurant is very well located,so you can't go wrong with your choice to eat outside. The views include the ocean,boats and you have the mountains as your backdrop. Sometimes you'll even get to see and take pictures of the seals,if you fortunate enough. But just be careful and don't go to near. They can become aggressive at times. Also watch out for the seagulls. They are notorious for snatching the people's food. But other than that, you'll have a wonderful time. Whether you are alone or with the family.
