Gillooly's Farm
Used to be a beautiful park.This place has so badly detoriated, shop there closed down, grass is long, bathrooms not in a good state.Only good would be that it is free entrance with security at the gate and some play equipment for the kids.Rather travel to Zoo lake if you can.

Eish the toilets were bad. They smelled. Maybe they can get security who's going to make people pay R2 at the door and be responsible for cleaning also. Overall, I liked the park, will definitely go back with my friends

The park is in a terrible state. Rubbish all over, and paths completely over-grown. Would not recommend going. There were other people walking their dogs. So sad, because it could be a beautiful family park.

Gillooly's Farm
A very nice park to relax either solo, or with friends and family. The entrance is free, food and alcohol are allowed in. The lake there got a nice view with walk paths around it.It's is secured place to the best of my knowledge and also favourable for kids with swing sets and other related stuffs to play with.

A True and old heritage site of Johannesburg Gauteng, I have made many memories from the stages of being a little kid into my adult life and my experiences at Gillooy's Farm are well kept in mind for that reason I recommend you visit the location to explore the area and see what you can find out.

This is the first time I'm here. There weren't too many people there. The place is not looked after. The toilet was dirty, the grass not cut. There's a lot of rubbish lying around. The restaurant is closed. Would I go there again? Definitely not.

Beautiful lake and view, but definitely needs maintenance. The place is being neglected and reeks of sewerage.

What a fantastic and incredible park to be at. Was here with my family, braai, music and great views all by yourselves. There's a huge play area for the kids. You can do all your activities whilts the kids play and its easy to monitor them since the play area is right in the middle of the park.Alcohol is not really allowed in the premises but its not a big deal. There are also certain areas where you are not allowed to bring food or camp at for braai and stuff but thats just a small portion of the lake side. Otherwise all is good
