Average would be a compliment. Had the calamari popper and mussels to start. The popper’s breading was falling apart, soggy and insipid. While the mussels was okay. Basic cream sauce with a bit of toast on the side.For mains we had the prawns and a sushi platter.The prawns itself was very well cooked and plum. The sauce however is cooked together with the prawns. Not an issue if -1. You got another/more sauce on the side2. 70% of my sauce sticking to the prawns shell as I am peeling them3. The other 30% on the plate now infused with a wilted warm lettuce and carrot salad. No idea why you would serve this underneath the warm prawns.The redeeming factor was the sushi. Very well cooked rice with fresh produce. So we thought up until the salmon roses. The salmon itself was inedible. “Off” taste or very poor/old quality used.Service was very slow. Can be blamed on the busy season - various other restaurants around the West-Coast did not have this issue.The views and location is lovely. If only the rest lived up to this standard.

What an excellent surprise. Been back since first visit. Man what an excellent meal the Chocolate Cheesecake was in my humble opinion a joygasm!

Breakfasts are tasty the portions are generous.Unfortunately coffee with Long Life milk doesn't appeal to me.The Calamari Popper was terrible and the batter just slid of the tube.

We had a short holiday in Lamberts Bay and a friend took us to Isabella's a few times. The staff were always friendly and the restaurant was permanently full. The food was delicious and I am convinced that the Jalapeño Poppers are the best in the Western Cape! I'll go back just for that! Although, the hake was cooked to perfection.A must visit!

We went there and it was a bit chilly we were offered 2 x small blankets which was great to keep the coldness at bay. The service was excellent the manager came over and enquired about our lunch. The food was very tasty and to my opinion very good value for money. The view was also nice overlooking the Harbour. I can recommend Isabellas with a clear conscience.
