Singita Boulders Lodge

Boulders is symbolic of how complacency and greed corrode excellence. This place used to be magical, it is now lower quality than a Best Western. The food used to be unrivaled and now it is uninspired and even bland. Even Starbucks makes a decent iced coffee; try ordering one at this place and you’ll get something that looks like tepid muddy sulfur in a pint glass.

If I could give you a rating of 10 stars it would be closer to my personal experience that I have the past 3 days and 2 nights.I can only say it was awesome from our arrival, the personal, the food, the game drives, your professionalism in what you are doing and your friendship of caring and love. Thank you for Paul for the game drives that sets thee highest limits to see the big 5 and a birth of an Impala and many many more. Thank you guys it was the best time of my life.

Singita’s reputation as the gold standard safari operator is so well deserved. We had the most magical stay at Boulders.The rooms are beyond gorgeous, and the service is so genuine, warm, and refreshingly informal while still being meticulous.Our guide and tracker, Andries and Johnson, are true masters of their crafts. They would often set a goal for a specific sighting “let’s find some lions.” They delivered on 100% of the bogeys they set and offered an incredible depth of knowledge on animal behavior.The food and wine experience were very high quality and the wine cellar at boulders is simply exceptional with a wonderful representation of South Africa’s finest terroirs and producers at your disposal. We enjoyed a fabulous and educational tasting in the cellar with Izzy the sommelier.There’s no question we’ll turn to Singita when planning our next safari (and we absolutely intend on doing one!) Thanks to all those mentioned, as well as Sylvester and Luke for making our stay so magical and memorable.

Well what can I say, if you have been you know what I am talking about of you have not you have to make this a trip. Greta team, super private personal lodges. Fly directly to Singita if you can, that’s cute out a 2 hour transfer from the local international. First 24hours saw a amazing selection of wild life. All the big five. If you are staying at Singita Boulders literally all you need is your under pants they quite honestly supply everything else.

What an amazing experience! The service is impeccable and everyone is so friendly and ready to assist in any way possible! Luke was phenomenal is helping us select wines!Our guide and tracker (Marc and Musa) - let me just say we already miss them! From making sure that I have my coffee in the am to chasing after the cheetah…. Marc knew exactly how to position our vehicle to make sure we had the best views of the animal. Musa would go on foot to track down a leopard. They went above and beyond and made our experience exceptional!

The staff especially Return were always attentive and helpful, and they went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met.The food was premium. The menu was extensive and the dishes were all delicious. The wine list was also excellent, and the staff were knowledgeable about the wines and were able to make recommendations.The game drives were excellent. The guides Q and Vusi were knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife, and they were able to spot animals that we would never have seen on our own.The surprise dinner and cocktails were a lovely touch. It was a wonderful way to end a perfect day.The picnic during the drive was a great way to experience the African bush. It was a unique and memorable experience.Overall, we had an unforgettable experience at Singita Boulders Lodge. Magnificent in every way. 5 Star accommodations , food , staff. Special recognition to our Tracker Sidwell and Guide Damin for 3 amazing days including the big 5 in 1 day !!! Also Vivian who made our dining experiences wonderful and lastly Jordy who per our request arranged one of the most special dinners we have ever experienced. No question we will be back again soon and repeatedly.

Substantial drop in service, food quality, and professionalism from pre covid. Room quality also hasn’t been updated in nearly a decade. Lots of insects, bad mattress, poor sleep quality, bad AC units.

The best bush experience you could ever hope to have. Amazing staff who feel more like family and a breathtaking location. The food is beyond incredible.

Outstanding in every way. Hospitality beyond my dreams, unparalleled food and wine all with superb game viewing. The team of Warrick (spelling?) with Minnie and Ernest delivering most sumptuous feasts. Guiding team of Vusi and Nick was so so so wonderful too. Housekeeping was prompt, invisible and paid meticulous attention to detail.
