Papiesfontein Beach Horse Rides

Wonderful experience with skillful guides. Really enjoyed the morning. The guides were accomodating and knowledgeable in their field. Beach ride was stunning and the horses well looked after.

Had a fab time riding here! My booking hadn’t gone through by accident online and they still fit me in with late notice. The route was really beautiful, especially the dunes and riding on the beach without anyone but you and the guide around. The horses only go out once a week or so so are not overworked and are well looked after. The guide was great and took lovely videos and photos. Definitely recommend!

I had an amazing time. We got to see a part of the beach which I believe I would not have seen otherwise. The guide was very helpful to me as my beginner" horse just felt like running all the time. And I was a bit afraid

What an amazing experience! As someone with very little riding experience, the guide (Jan) was extremely patient with us. Our safety was his priority.The horses especially loved the sea and couldn't wait to run along the beach (much to this newbie's panic ☺)The only downside (literally the only one) is that because we were not experienced riders, I felt like the the ride was a bit long. The beautiful scenery of the bush, dunes and beach made it worth it!

Absolutely amazing outride. Best one iv ever been on in a long time. It was a stunning view with amazing horses that are well looked after. I was the only experienced rider along with multiple other riders that were a mix of novice and intermediate but this did not stop the fun for them. Everyone travels at a safe pace between walking and trotting on the ride towards the beach. The ride has stunning views and the guide takes amazing care of all the riders. You then reach a reasonably steep dune that the horses comfortably take u up as they've done done it many times before and it makes the way up pleasant. Once on the extremely long stretch of beach, riders can either walk trot canter or gallop depending on how comfortableu are(ofc by when the guide says) and the guide gives a point for u to stop and take a walk while waiting for others and letting the horses have a cool down. Absolutely stunning. Definitely a must go. Worth the price. Super friends people and guides aswell❤️

Had an incredible experience at Papiesfontein. From start to finish, it was amazing. Cassandra was so helpful throughout the booking and trail. We were a bit late for a booking and she was super considerate and made us all feel welcome. The horses are great and suited for each rider. I’m a beginner myself and felt comfortable throughout the ride. Jan made us all feel like we could do it all. He built our confidence up which I really liked. The views are stunning and you don’t want it to end. I recommend this to anyone who’s looking for an adventure.

Fun, with quietness, tranquility and freshness. Refreshing rides along the bushes, sand dunes and the beach. Well experienced helpful instructor.

Hands down the best beach ride I’ve ever done! Incredible views and horses. Highly recommended for both beginner and experienced riders alike. Thank you for an incredible experience - we’ll be back!
