Cut and Sew Tailors

Assisted me at short notice to alter the suite trouser for my son for his graduation. Very happy for the professional service received and the outcome of the alterations. I've no hesitation in highly recommending Cut and Sew Tailors.

Extremely over priced and bad service. I went there in need of sewing on 2 5cm embroidery patches that i made myself. They charged me R160 and told me that it will only be ready in 7 days. So what am i paying R160 for definitely not their speedy services?? Does sewing on 2 pieces really cost That amount? Things to think about before supporting greedy merchants.

Extremely professional service received.You drop off your items that need alteration, measurements are taken. A deposit needs to be paid and the balance due when you collect. They have a change room in store for you to try on the items.You receive a confirmation sms for collection. Very professionally handled.

Shocking service and exorbitant prices. Curtains were incorrectly altered and very messily finished. They refused to fix them and blamed us for the issue, and thereafter double charged to fix their error.

I always get the best service from Cut & Sew. They’ve even accommodated my requests that needed to be done within the hour.

The alteration on a medical scrubs pants given in was tailored incorrectly (too short), it was then given in for repair and it was given back in an untidy state (glaring stitches and patch work). The lady who works there was also rude, claiming it was our fault" when she should of just apologized for the error. She needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. The garments are also kept in an untidy state (squashed and wrinkled with remnants of yellow chalk that they use for measuring)."

Dropped a dress off for a simple press stud. When the dress returned, a thread had been pulled loose. At first one of the employees agreed that the thread being pulled had taken place while alterations took place and asked to keep the dress to repair it. Told me to return in a week. Came back, dress hadn’t been touched, only to be told by the manager that no such agreement had taken place. She said she would try have the pulled thread repaired. Came back again two weeks later to the dress having had a “minor” attempt at repairing it. This dress had not been worn, still had the tag on. Received such terrible customer service. Especially as I have been a customer for many years now. Waited patiently for the manager for an hour and half, while she was on “lunch” between 14:00 and 15:30.

Pricing is in line with other tailors.Service is great. It’s tailoring so everything won’t always be correct the first time but they resolve all issues. More professional than other tailors in terms of delivering in their quoted times, notifications, staff knowledge on materials, etc.

The owner (old man) who mans the front desk thinks he is a neurosurgeon. He is arrogant to most of his customers and seems constantly irritated. Be more humble and pleasant to your customers. I can just imagine how badly he treats his employees
