I drove from Cape Town to test a car in Swellendam. Auto Superb fought tooth and nail to prevent me from having the car properly tested. Finally they agreed for me to take the vehicle to a mechanic 300 m away. I was then informed that I could not drive the car any further than 3 blocks in town ie. unable to take the cart over 60 kmh or on a highway. Riaan claimed that the consumer protection act didn't apply to the purchase which is false. If you don't want to drive your prospective car more than 60 kmh, you don't mind if it's not thoroughly tested(there was no DEKRA/AA report for the car) then Auto Superb is the dealership for you! Any used car dealer worth their salt should allow you to do comprehensive tests and if they don't allow this they do not have your best interests at heart.

I am very happy with the car that I bought through Auto Superb and the service I received. The car developed a minor and unusual problem shortly after purchase.. Riaan was brilliant, helping me find a great dealership to fix it (after the one I usually go to tried to charge me a fortune), as well as footing the bill despite it not being his responsibility.
