Bloc 11 - Diep River
The first climbing gym to come to the southern suburbs of Cape Town, and who better than Bloc 11. The south gym is a fantastic world class bouldering only climbing gym with a yoga, and fitness training area too. The bouldering walls have a wide variety of shapes, features, grips, and problems for your first timer to your advanced climber to all have a good and challenging session. For first time climbers shoe rentals are available, so bring yourself and friends in some active clothing and have some fun. There is free parking on the premises.Highly recommended

The route setting here is top quality and the walls get reset regularly so you never feel like you’re running out of things to do. The holds are also washed regularly so they don’t build up disgusting amounts of chalk and rubber (unlike at CR). The space is very friendly and inviting. Definitely the place to boulder!

Love the new gym. Great staff, great regular attendees and a well designed gym, clearly designed by boulderers for boulderers.I appreciate the vast levels of difficulty and complexity in the routes.

Bloc 11 is the friendliest, best-equipped bouldering gym in the country. Come for a quiet morning/afternoon or a buzzing evening vibeThere are routes for all levels, and a coffee shop if you're just here to watch. If you're not a climber, the guided yoga sessions or in-house physio are great ways to take care of yourself

Loved my experience at the Bloc. As a first timer .. I found it thoroughly exciting and nicely setup ... For all levels. There is a route for every level, so even beginners can feel accomplished at the end of a session. Friendly staff and overall great vibes.
