Its a revitilising place for chiiling and braaing

There is a large variety of meat to select from and you can have it braaied. Great if you're looking for a traditional pap and flies meal with salads. Drinks (alcoholic included) are available for your enjoyment and there is a play area for kids if you decide to bring them along. Just be aware that you will drive on a dirt road after turning of the asphalt but there definitely is no need for a high clearance vehicle.

They sell good meat at times. This is a nice place to chill and unwind because it has a braai area. There's only one downside,they close too early on weekends.

Fresh meat at good and affordable prices.Very neat place away from the buzzing noise of the city.This is a good place for an outing with friends and family just to braai or to party as many kinds of drinks are also served there.Child friendly place as there is a play area for kids if you bring them along.

The place is about 2km from the main tarred road. The gravel road that leads to this place is in such a bad state, corrugated, heavy stones all over and massive holes along the way; huge security risk being on such a bad road. What is the benefit of travelling the distance to meet a stretch of 2km of near impassable road for butchery products that aren't as cheap? I think local farmers must engage municipality representatives with a view to improve the road, access to markets mean better roads too even if it's a mere 2km, there's a huge opportunity for semi rural economy to benefit from the greater Gauteng economy. People are looking at getting products from source, this place to me is well positioned to take advantage of this..the place is known for fresh produce at competitive prices. They can explore setting up an online shopping experience...take advantage of digital platforms to expand outreach. Not everyone has a 4×4 to travel to Kliep Abattoir.

Affordable and good grade meat. Stuff quick and friendly and there's a braai area, chill zone for adults while the children play on the slides (play area)
