What a pleasant experience I had! Fast and friendly service! The food is fresh and well prepared. Pricing is great! The seafood platter really hit the spot!

My parents brought me here for lunch today as it was my birthday. We decided on barracudas as we havent been for a couple of years. We got some things off their main menu and special lunch menus. My dad and moms meal was good and they enjoyed it. My prawns though were raw. The person who waited us was the owner. When I told him it was raw, he never apologised or showed any concern, he took my plate and said he will cook it further. Came back with it, still no apology. The chips was good. It seems most of this business clientele are pensioners.The service at this place is not up to scratch. The vibe the owner was giving off was very cocky and nonchalant. He seemed abit all over the place. He looked like he was having a bad day. From dress appearance to attitude, it was just off putting and unprofessional. I could’ve gotten sick eating raw prawns. The special menus has good options but some items on the main menus were overpriced. Eg for a Greek salad it’s like over R80. When told by another customer that the salad is overpriced he got defensive and said he uses romain lettuce lol. Although the food is decent, the atmosphere lacks professionalism and cosiness and warmth. The other waiter that assisted us was friendly.Being someone that worked in customer service and hospitality for many years, great service and great food and great atmosphere is key to a successful business. You don’t want to chase customers away..you want to make their experience a good one so they come back again.

Super fast food delivery.... Like MC Donald's fast. Seafood is very fresh and tasty. We went back on a public holiday again as my parents loved it, but it seems they close on holidays.

Attractive decor in a spacious, well-ventilated restaurant. Lovely historical images of the neighbourhood decorate the walls. The well-priced specials were tasty and cheerful waitress was responsive. The curry is good! Basic menu where you get what you pay for! We'll be back.

Lunch special was great. Tasty, well prepared, good size portions. And only R65 for now.They also do a breakfast special from 10AM at R45 (includes coffee) bit it's not advertised on Google yet.

As can be seen from our photos, we have a seafood platter and grilled prawns. Both were specials.The food was amazing and it came out a lot quicker than anticipated. The restaurant was very clean.The service was slow and erratic, but we were in no mad rush and prefer absent waiters than staff that hover all over you while you eat.Good value for money. Great food. Speedy delivery. Clean restaurant. Slowish service.All in all- we would go back for the meals.

Valentine's dinner at this restaurant with a huge capacity was my first visit to this venue.I got the impression that further space, sections, could be opened up to take the overflow of unexpected patrons.In spite of the fact that my fellow diner booked a table for two we were taken to the back of a hurriedly prepared section kept for overflow patrons. I resented that, however excepted it in good grace.The service was efficient, friendly and brisk, in spite of an obviously unexpectedly full restaurant.We received a most calm and gracious welcome on our arrival !My friend ordered grilled hake and vegetables. The portion was most generous and well presented and I believe well prepared.I ordered a Durban lamb curry which was full of flavour and again a generous portion.The back of the restaurant where we were seated was stark without any ambiance, however clinical and neat.

The south Indian prawn curry lacks flavor. I had better Indian curry before. I came here for fresh Hake fish, but it was sold out.

Excellent value for money, service was really great and the food prepared as per my order, presentation was lovely. Even the notorious food critic in our group never complained once (well, that is new!) and vowed to return. That really says something. Pricing is reasonable, fair, a bargain, even.
