Shiduli Private Game Lodge

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! We had an experience of a lifetime! The resort was very nice. The food was great and the attention to detail for the food presentation was terrific. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nice. Our safari with Respect and Johnson was perfect. Those guys are the BEST!! They are super nice and they get you right up close and personal with the animals. It was absolutely crazy how close they got us. Literally 5 feet from a lion, and we even WALKED with cheetahs!!! These guys are worth their weight in gold. If we ever get a chance to go back, we will definitely be asking for Respect and Johnson as our guide and tracker. We have been to several places around the globe and every state in the USA but this safari we did with Shiduli is hands down the best vacation we have ever been on. If you have ever wanted to go on a safari, you have to check Shiduli out. You won't be disappointed!

We just wish to say thank you very much for such a wonderful stay. The staff went above and beyond! The rooms were lovely and very well serviced. The ranger Gilbert, and tracker German were absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable. We saw all of the big 5 during our 4 night stay and would love to come back if we ever get the opportunity! Our stay at Shiduli was the highlight of our vacation. Shauna was a great host, and our guide, Cameron, and tracker, Solomon, were top notch. The entire staff was amazing, anticipating our every need. Not only did they provide three amazing meals a day, they also offered coffee/tea and a snack before (and during) the morning game drives, and tea, fruit, and cakes before our afternoon drives and drinks and snacks along the way. I highly recommend this lodge!

Lovely welcome. Very good accommodation and food. Charlie our safari guide and Peter the spotter were excellent and ensured we got the best out of our safaris. Staff were lovely and attentive.

We spent two nights at Shiduli Lodge. It is a fantastic lodge and provided fantastic game drives. Our room was nice although could have more storage options for luggage. The bathroom was large and comfortable. The space is very kid friendly.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.A couple of key take away. They provide juice as part of the buffet during breakfast however if you want juice at any other meal you will be required to pay extra. Same with alcohol beverages, we were offered a complimentary drink during the drive but not during a meal.The lodge attracts many tour groups which made for a slight bit more energetic experiance at the lodge. If you would prefer a quieter lodge experience this might not be the one for you.Overall we enjoyed our time

I absolutely loved my stay here. The lodge itself was beautiful and relaxing with great food and hospitality. The drives were life changing. Big shout out to my driver, Sean, who went out of his way to ensure i saw the big 5 and on my last day, to see the lion cubs. This was one of the greatest experiences of my life and Id recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Great place with wide range of wild animals..everything is great

We stayed at 4 game reserves in South Africa and this place was 100% the WORST of them all, totally due to management.We witnessed two incidents of a manager speaking very rudely to different staff members in front of guests. I'd hate to think what she tells her staff behind closed doors. It's obvious that she doesn't care about her staff and making them feel like they're worthy; instead she was very degrading towards them.A lot of tour groups and families do stay here so beware that the vibe is not very relaxing if you are an independent couple.An absolute positive was that all the staff (who weren't one of the two managers) were incredibly kind, nice, and a pleasure to be around.To the manager reading this: get your house in order and stop condoning poor treatment of your staff. They deserve better!
