The restaurant was very quiet when we went in around 2pm. The waiter was attentive and very professional. The place was neat and tidy. Good place if you want to chill. However the food was a big disappointment if you looking for authentic Durban" curry. Being an ex Durbanite I have been on the hunt for Durban style food but mostly struggle to find it according to thee claims of being "Durban style". I ordered the mutton bunny which really looked delicious but failed big time on its flavor and worse had a boiled flavor and very couchy smell

Absolutely divine wholesome curries - reminds me of durban restaurants. Good size portions, great ambience. We stay too far to go frequently but try to visit now and then.

Food was delicious. I ordered a prawn and chicken biryani and hubby ordered mutton bunny. Texture, taste, spiciness everything on par. This is my new favorite restaurant for Indian food in Jhb now.

Don't bother ordering from this place through uber eats, it's a rip off. We have ordered from here twice and the first time was a lamb curry, which I paid R198 for 2 pieces of meat with no potatoes and just gravy. When I called the store the owner said that the uber eats drive ate the food and that was why it is less. This time around we decided to give them a 2nd chance and online it says 300g for masala chips, after opening it, it looked less. I weighed it and it was 198g without packaging. It was all cling wrapped, so no, the uber eats driver did not eat it!After calling the store, the lady (who I assume is the owner) continued to argue and defend themselves and refuse to listen saying that we were being dishonest. I think this happening twice is not a coincidence.Don't support them, because they do not care about customer service or give you what you pay for and what is advertised. Bad bad service, disappointed in small businesses who takes advantages of their customers.

A little expensive, not bad but not great either. I ordered a few pizzas too, but only the spicy chicken one tasted great. The 'some like it hot' pizza wasn't very hot either. Coffee was good though. Don't bother with the Bombay Crush, it isn't the way you want it.

Was hoping for a good durban style mutton bunny but was quite disappointed. Few pieces of mutton and could taste that the meat was not cooked with the curry because the flavour of the meat tasted like stew. Bread was fresh but potatoes were a bit hard. The beans bunny was on point and pizzas were alright. Cheese and corn samoosas were very tasty and probably the highlight of my meal. Lime milkshake was also very tasty.

Food was okay. It's very difficult to find a good bunny chow in Jhb. A lot of places glamorise by saying Authentic Durban Style" but always ends up being far from it. Although I really craved a bunny

Went to LUGZ after many years. Ordered some starters and the bhajia was not cooked all the way through. Ordered a mix veg and beans bunny. Curry was okay albeit a bit sweet. Not bad but not the best I have had . Service and seating area was however on point and prices reasonable.

Really used to enjoy the food -Randburg branch. The past couple months standards have dropped completely. Went to pick up a mutton bunny a couple of weeks ago and also took the puri patha on display -got home and took a bite -it was so stale I gagged. Went to lunch with a friend here, after deciding the puri patha must have been a fluke, and the beans curry ordered by my friend was off. The chilli bites were not cooked through. They replaced with veg breyani which was just short of off. The mutton breyani that I ordered was also slightly off. Just no. These things happen but not on a consistent basis. Sort it out.
