Superspar - Century

Very nice location, has security so one feels safe whilst shopping. Staff are super friendly. They have all banks ATMs, so it's like a banking mall though there are no cash depositing machines, only withdrawals. Some machines(Standard Bank, FNB and Capitec) are not well maintained as they are not working at times even when it's not due to loadshedding. The cash at the till option comes in very handy though it requires a purchase first before you may withdraw at the till. That somewhat adds to the convenience factor.On the whole it's a good place to shop. Fresh fruit and veges, meat, bakery items.The missing star is that I find favorite items missing on the shelves, out of stock. It could be due to current manufacturing climate. When I ask when to expect it back on the shelf, staff don't know. That makes my trip there not worth it. Also the miss is for change at the tills, it seems to be an issue of late. Cashiers battle to give customers change and scrape around for it. Only one cashier out if four that were open had change when I was there yesterday.In general it is the closest banking mall I have. Grateful if all banks can help to maintain their machines in working order as much as possible.

Busy with renovations so bit of a shambles at the moment will be great to shop there once it's done

Layout of the shop could be improved I bought the most Devine shortbread Nazreemas treats THE SUSHI BAR AT THE EXIT WAS GHASTLY THE WOMAN USED NO GLOVES I TOOK IT AND DID NOT EAT IT IT THE WORST SUSHI IVE EATEN IN MY LIFE

I just had a bad experience at my local SuperSpar". I bought a few things and after paying I noticed that the doritos which is advertised on there website as on special didn't reduce I approached a supervisor (After the "experience" I asked her name and she identified herself as "Chance")my wife showed her the slip as well as the leaflet on the Century SuperSpar website by which she responded its not there store. I showed her on the website it's clearly there store which she wasn't happy that the customer was right. It's not the first time I had a similar experience at this Spar. I told her to call her manager. After a while a manager "Amanda" came down and also tried to deny the special. I also had to hear she's on lunch so her assisting me was probably special treatment. After I asked her and Chance why does the clients know the store and specials better than the staff I was informed they not a Superspar "anymore" but she will assist me. She's not doing me any favors. That's the price that I should be paying. I told her kindly to leave it because on the slip they a superspar and all there signage is superspar. People be wakeup when parting with your hard earned money because you likely to be ripped off and numerous ridiculous excuses will be told why they stealing your money!"

Too many unwanted people hanging around...staff not very friendly and since they're renovating the Shop itself have really nothing in place - no signage to excuse that shelves is empty or the inconvenience caused!

So in love with the BPA free reusable hobby life coffee cups....and stylish multi boxes will be coming to buy the egg storage container next!!!! Get the Cup guys its multi purpose not only coffee goes in there lol

A spacious people friendly store. I cannot complain about the service and caters for most grocery needs. There are smaller businesses on site too.
