It was a long walk, but well worth it! The scenery on the way was breathtaking! A tip for photographers, go in the morning to have the sun from the back!:)

Another wonder of nature, one of two waterfalls of 20 in the world that fall directly into the sea, and we have both of SA's within +-5 km of each other here right on our doorstep.

Beautiful scenery. Walk the 5km there and back.Stop at the cottages and take one of the guides to walk you there. Somewhat difficult to find the way if its your first time. No signage at all. Take water and lunch and rest at the waterfall. Some fitness needed to go down or up the cliffs to see more.

One of the best waterfalls in South Africa and one of a few that fall directly into the Ocean. Truly a stunning area. The waves that crash along these rugged cliffs are super high making this whole trip memorable and incredible. A 4x4 is recommended to get to this place but a vehicle with high ground clearance can possibly make it if you drive carefully.

Took a walk through in the middle of the January heat, take enough water, a hat and sunscreen etc.Very nice walk, fairly level from Luphatana, check tides for the river but can cross about 30m up stream across the bolders.

This was the highlight of our holiday. And easy 5km walk from Luphathaba. Better to go with a guide the first time. You'll need at least a 4x2 to get to Luphathaba and potentially a 4x4 in summer when it rains. Soak in the views, the peace and the absolute awe of mother nature at her best.

Waterfall didn’t have much water at this time of the year. Still, it’s a beautiful place but VERY hard to get to! Add an hour to the ETA suggested by Google and make sure to drive with a reliable 4WD. It’s a chore to get there but you‘ll be rewarded with amazing sights along South Africa‘s „Wild Coast“.

An amazing waterfall on the wild coast, the falls end directly into the sea. Various routes to reach the falls, but it uncludes a hike of around at least 3,5 km, depending on where you start from. We chose a shorter hike, but that means you need a 4x4 vehicle to reach the starting point, as the road is very slippery and wet. Very much worth the effort!
